Having already accumulated 7 league points, Swansea manager Alan Sheehan is keen to add to his squad as they plot a possible run to the play-offs this season.
After suffering defeat on the first day to Middlesbrough, the Swans have went on a 3-game unbeaten run that included wins over both Sheffield clubs, United and Wednesday.
Having been tipped for a mid-table finish this season, the encouraging beginning to the campaign will undoubtedly please fans.
Young left-back Samuels-Smith has yet to feature for Strasbourg in their Ligue 1 campaign but showed his potential on numerous occasions for Chelsea u21's before his big-money move to France.
The possible acquisition of Celtic striker Adam Idah on Deadline Day would also be a huge statement of intent from the Swans.
