Stuttgart Star Responds To Transfer Rumours

Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy has responded to rumours that he will leave the club this summer.

Guirassy had a fantastic season in 2023/24, scoring 30 goals in 30 games in all competitions. Naturally when performing at such a high standard noise begins about a potential move away.

Some big named clubs are rumoured to be interested in the Guinean from Manchester United to most recently Borussia Dortmund - who are rumoured to be in advanced talks with the player. Considering he is rumoured to have a release clause of £17 million in his contract, it is easy to understand why.

But Guirassy has put rumours to bed, shutting down all rumours in an interview with Sky Germany.

“Nothing is advanced,” he said.

“I’m still under contract with VFB [Stuttgart]. Now it’s time for a vacation. We’ll know in a few weeks what will happen.”

It will be interesting to see what his future holds for the 28 year old. But for now he will be ignoring the noise. Only time will tell if it stays that way.
