Sunderland Winger Set For Exit After Just Six Months?
Sunderland Summer Signing Subject of Monaco and Saudi Interest
Sunderland were very busy in the summer window following their promotion back to the Premier League. With additions such as Granit Xhaka, Robin Roefs and Nordi Mukiele performing excellently for the Black Cats and contributed strongly to what has been an impressive campagin so far.
However, winger Simon Adingra, signed from Brighton and Hove Albion, has not had quite the same impact. Adringa has struggled to impose himself in the North East and has scored just once in 14 league appearances for Regis Le Bris' side. And if reports are to be believed, Adingra could be set for a move away with French outlet MediaFoot reporting that AS Monaco have expressed interest in the Ivorian, with clubs in Saudi Arabia also reportedly circling.

Monaco to bid for Adingra?
Monaco are enduring a poor campaign in Ligue 1 so far, sitting in 10th place in the league. And as a result, it appears they are looking to strengthen their attacking options as they look to save their season in the final months of the campaign as they look to climb up the table as well as taking on the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.
MediaFoot have reported that Monaco have enquired to Sunderland about Adringra, though it is yet to be seen whether they choose to make a formal offer for the winger who Sunderland paid £20 million for just six months ago.
With Saudi Arabia interst also repordtbly out there, it appears Adingra's stay on Wearside may not be lasting too long.
