The Best Fixtures To Target For The Free Hit Chip In FPL

FPL fans, this weekend is a huge Premier League gameweek in our season! the upcoming fixtures are looking to be the perfect games to use our free hit chip on. The free hit chip allows us to completely change our whole team for one gameweek, we get unlimited transfers, but after this week, our team will go back to what it is right now. This is a really useful chip as you can maximise points if you make sure to select the best fixtures, that's what we are here to tell you today, we'll even give you the best transfer options! The chips reset in gameweek 19 in FPL this season for the first time ever, so if you haven't already used up your first free hit, now is the perfect time!

Manchester City Vs Leeds United

Lets get the obvious fixture out of the way... This doesn't need much explaining. Leeds are struggling so far this season and they couldn't have a much harder game then playing against Manchester City at the Etihad. This fixture is expected to be high scoring, with our advanced algorithm 78% confident in a Manchester City win. You definitely want to triple up on City players this week, with my picks being Haaland obviously, Jeremy Doku and Nico O'reilly in defence.

This helps you cover all bases and they all have a good chance of scoring quite a few points. Some of you may plan on using your triple captain chip on Haaland this week, which is definitely a good idea, but if your team hasn't got a good few of these players from these different fixtures, then I believe that a free hit is the best option. Gameweek 17 when City play West Ham seems like my option for the Haaland triple captain.

Brentford Vs Burnley

Another 3pm kick off on Saturday, another fixture that provides brilliant value. Burnley are one of the relegation favourites and we will be taking advantage of this by picking multiple Brentford players, there form recently makes them a great choice this week. The players that we would be targeting for this fixtures include, Kelleher, Sepp Van Den Berg, Kevin Schade and Igor Thiago.

Obviously this is too many than you are able to fit in your team, but you can pick three of these depending on who you personally believe is the best option. I am thinking Van Den Berg, Schade, and Thiago, as I want to target a different fixture with my goalkeeper, which you will find out later. Our advanced algorithm is predicting a 3-1 Brentford win, making these players amazing picks.

Aston Villa Vs Wolves

This could quite possibly be the fixture of the week! Wolves are rock bottom of the table without a single win this season and Aston Villa are on incredible form after an absolutely terrible start to the season.

We definitely want to target multiple Villa players, with my picks being Emi Martinez, Matty Cash and Morgan Rogers. All three of these offer amazing value and a high chance to provide plenty of points vs Wolves. Our advanced algorithm is predicting a 3-0 win for Villa, which would give us amazing points for our defenders and a pretty good chance of some Morgan Rogers points.

Once you have picked three players from each of these fixtures, that leaves you with two extra spots for your XI, don't worry, we've got you covered with the best potential picks for you to choose from!

First up is Morgan Gibbs-White at Nottingham Forest. They face off against Brighton at home and recent form suggests that Forest are a great pick for this fixture. Gibbs-white has a high chance of picking up some points, especially after his haul vs Liverpool last weekend.

Another two differentials are both in the same fixture - Liverpool vs West Ham.

I am thinking of picking either Cody Gakpo or Jarrod Bowen, however there is caution between both. On the one hand Liverpool are losing to everyone so Bowen seems like a great pick to get some points vs Liverpool, but then again there is always the chance Liverpool return to usual form and Gakpo would be expected to haul vs West Ham.

Good luck to all you FPL players in a big weekend in the Premier League season!
