The Best Three Teams to Start an EAFC 25 Career Mode With

In the build up to the release of EAFC 25, we’ve been taking a good look at Career mode. Since EA appear to be paying special attention to the game mode, as opposed to previous years where it’s been swept under the rug, we’re excited to kick off the new season in charge of our favourite clubs.

However, if you’re looking for a new team to manage for the new game, we’ve got you covered. We’ve compiled our top three teams to manage on FC 25 career mode.

3: Bromley - League 2

At Football Park, we are all big fans of the EFL, and fittingly there is no better place to start your journey as a manager.

You can take the responsibility from current boss Andy Woodman, who got the South-East London side promoted from the National League last campaign.

You’ll have a low budget as you fight against relegation from England’s fourth tier, and eventually look to build onwards and upwards. You’ll need to utilise loans and your youth academy in order to build your team.

Ben Thompson is far and away your best player, his 77 aggression will give you the bite you need in midfield.

Goal For Season One

Survive the League Two relegation battle.

End of Save Objective

Reach the Premier League.

2: Paris FC - Ligue 2

You might think PSG are the only team worth a look in Paris, but that’s where you’d be wrong.

The Ligue 2 counterpart to Saint-Germain are on an upward trajectory, and narrowly missed out on promotion through the play-offs last season.

You’ll need to spend smart in order to fight for the title in France’s second division in your first campaign, and you could maybe even be cheeky enough to try and pinch some squad players from PSG on loan.

Maxime Lopes will be vital, his 91 agility and 93 balance means he’ll leave opposition defenders on ice-skates, as you aim to match PSG in club stature.

Goal For Season One

Gain promotion to Ligue 1.

End of Save Objective

Beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title.

1: Ipswich Town - Premier League

The best project to take on in FC 25 is undoubtedly managing Ipswich Town.

If you choose to replace Kieran McKenna at Portman Road, not only will you have a shoestring budget against the league’s big boys, you’ll also have a significantly weaker squad than the teams around you.

Whilst it might seem mundane to start your save in England’s first tier, it’ll prove a real challenge to keep Ipswich in the Premier League.

Keeping hold of Jamaican youngster Omari Hutchinson could be make or break as you manage the tractor boys. Whilst only 74 rated at the beginning of the season, his high ceiling will be vital for pushing forward as a club.

Goal For Season One

Survive the Premier League relegation battle.

End of Save Objective

Win the FA/Carabao Cup.
