Ange Postecoglou's nightmare start as Nottingham Forest manager was brought to a brutal end on Saturday afternoon, with the under-pressure Australian receiving his marching orders almost immediately after a 3-0 loss at home to Chelsea.
The former Tottenham and Celtic manager had only been in charge at The City Ground for 39 days before being dismissed after failing to win any of his opening eight matches in the dugout, leaving his stint as the shortest managerial reign in Premier League history (that ended in a sacking).
Nottingham Forest themselves confirmed on social media that Postecoglou had been dismissed just 20 minutes after the full-time whistle had blown. TNT Sports presenter Olivia Buzalgo revealed the crazy scenes in Nottingham in the wake of the game on her TikTok account after returning from the match.
Speaking on social media, Buzalgo described the crazy scenes in the media rooms at The City Ground on Saturday night.
The presenter noted that immediately after the game had concluded, she was in an interview room preparing to interview Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, who had scored the Blues' second goal of the game with a flashing free-kick routine.
"I was about to interview Pedro Neto, and then I literally got told then that Ange had been sacked. 18 minutes after the game finished!"
She noted her frank interaction with Forest's Global Head of Football, Edu Gaspar, who was a controversial figure behind the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo earlier in the season. Buzalgo said that the media were hoping to interview the Brazilian in the wake of the news, but any press hoping to get his words on the matter were flatly dismissed.

"I was stood opposite Edu, and the media wanted to him to do post-match interviews and post-match media and Edu was like "not happening", so that then got scrapped. The players then all went into a board meeting, Ryan Yates said after it was just the higher-ups that make the decisions, but Marinakis wasn't actually there.
"He (Yates) then, bless him, he had to do all of the media. He was the one that was put up, he didn't even play. Obviously all of the questions were about Ange, there was nothing about the game."
The news of Edu reportedly turning away media requests did not land well amongst the Forest fanbase.
The 47-year-old joined Marinakis as his Global Head of Football in July of this year, overseeing and helping with operations across the Forest owner's small network of clubs, including Rio Ave and Olympiakos.
He reportedly played a big role in the friction that led to the dismissal of popular manager Nuno Espirito Santo back in September, with the pair having an "un-salvageable" relationship that eventually seemed to leave Marinakis with the need to make a decision between the two.
Nuno was dismissed under these controversial circumstances to the upset of many in the Forest crowd, with plenty of criticism being aimed at Edu for allegedly upsetting the atmosphere at the club upon his arrival.
The news of his refusals in the tunnel has done him no favours, with one fan calling him a "weasel" in an X post on Sunday night.
So, TNT reporter shares what happened straight after the game in the tunnel.

What stands out was how when there was carnage Edu the weasel hid, and left it to Yates to front to all the cameras.
