The Top 10 Highest Rated Championship Players on EAFC 25

18/09/24 15:46

In the build up to the release of EAFC 25, which is scheduled for the 27th of September 2024, EA have released the official ratings for players in the game.

Fans of teams in the EFL Championship are keen to know if their favourite player will be amongst the highest in the division, so we’ve broken it down for you. Without further ado, here are the top ten highest rated players.

10: Ethan Ampadu - Leeds United - CB - 75

Up first is Leeds’ Ethan Ampadu, who has been awarded a 75 rating for his fantastic campaign last year.

The Welshman is the third highest rated CB in the league, and has also got an alternate position at CDM.

Ampadu’s highest stat is his stamina, which comes in at a fair 80, probably awarded for his tireless performances in midfield scattered throughout his career.

9: Tom Krauss - Luton Town - CDM - 75

Luton Town’s Tom Krauss is up next, who is with the Hatters on a season long loan from Mainz.

While we’re yet to see Krauss in action for Luton, he played a fair role in the Bundesliga last year, so his rating is fair. Krauss has an alternate position in CM.

Krauss’ highest stat is his aggression, which is a whopping 86. It’s probably realistic given his five yellow cards last campaign.

8: Mike Tresor - Burnley - LM - 75

The first of a three Burnley players on our list, Tresor has earned himself a non-rare gold card this season.

He made his loan at Burnley permanent this season, following a reasonably promising first campaign in the Premier League last season. His 75 rating is pretty accurate, given he’s a fully fledged Belgian international. Tresor can also play as a CAM or LW.

Tresor has an 86 rated stat in both sprint speed and agility, meaning he’ll be pretty meta in FC 25.

7: Josh Cullen - Burnley - CDM - 76

Another Burnley player up next, and Josh Cullen certainly deserves his 76 rating on FC 25.

The defensive midfielder signed a new contract with Burnley earlier in the month.

The Irishman made 25 Premier League appearances last season, and registered two goals and three assists.

His versatility allows him to play at CM in the game too, and his highest stat is far and away his stamina, which comes in at 85. Cullen will be just as tireless in the game as he is in real life.

6: Gustavo Hamer - Sheffield United - CM - 76

The first player on our list that I think could be even higher rated, Gus Hamer clocks in at a 76 rating. Somehow, Hamer is also the only Sheffield United player on our list.

The Dutchman had a fantastic campaign in the Premier League, despite his side's relegation, gathering 10 goal contributions for his efforts. He’s already racked up four goal contributions so far this campaign too.

Hamer can also operate as a CAM, and his highest rated stat by far is his aggression, which is a huge 87.

Jordan Beyer, our second CB of the list, earned himself a 76 rating for FC 25.

The German ball-player certainly deserves his rating for the promise he showed last season in the Premier League.

His highest stat, his jumping at 81, will combine nicely with his 6’2” frame to keep him dominant in the air on FC 25.

At 24-years-old, should you be looking at Beyer for a career mode, he’ll have plenty of room to grow and develop higher.

4: Manor Solomon - Leeds United - LM - 76

Leeds’ Manor Solomon, who joined in the summer on a season long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is next up on our list.

The Israeli international has proved his worth in patches for both Fulham and Spurs in the Premier League, but consistent injuries have hampered his development further.

That being said, he’s performed well for Leeds so far, and deserves his 76 rating.

Solomon can also play as a LW, and his highest stat is unsurprisingly his 84 acceleration and agility.

3: Salis Abdul Samed - Sunderland - CDM - 76

Another player yet to feature for their club so far this season, Sunderland’s Abdul Samed makes the top three of Championship ratings. Joining on a season long loan, his rating suggests he’ll make an impact at this level.

The Ghanaian international did play a decent role for RC Lens in Ligue 1 last season, so it’s unsurprising that he’s so highly rated.

Abdul Samed can also operate as a CM, and his highest rated stat is his stamina at a HUGE 88.

2: Maximilian Wober - Leeds United - CB - 77

Our final Leeds United player, Wober, is also the highest rated CB in the Championship on FC 25.

Another player who had a promising season in the Premier League, Wober spent last season on a successful loan spell with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga. This season, he’s stuck around to give it another go at Elland Road.

The ball-playing defender has no alternative positions, despite being competent as a LB in real life.

His highest stat is his aggression at 83, and he was dismissed for a second yellow card in the Bundesliga last year.

1: Alfie Doughty - Luton Town - LB - 77

Alfie Doughty is the highest rated player in the Championship on FC 25, and no one can really argue with that.

The left sided full back made waves in the Premier League last season, with his crossing second to almost none in England’s top tier.

Whilst Doughty was even suggested as an option for England in the summer, he’s decided to stick with Luton Town in the second tier this season, and is by far and away the league’s best player in FC 25.

Doughty’s highest stat is his 84 acceleration, but don't look past his 83 crossing either.
