Top 3 Best Performing Youngsters In The Premier League Right Now

26/09/24 21:09

The Premier League has been underway for over 6 weeks now and young talents from all clubs have been turning up to showcase their talent and cement themselves into the starting 11 of their side and compete with the best in the world.

Here are the 3 best performing youngsters so far this season in the Premier League…

Tyler Dibling

Tyler Dibling has started life very well with newly promoted side, Southampton and has created a lot of attention towards himself after a very strong start to the season.

The 18 year old has featured in every Southampton game so far this season and has picked up 2 assists as well as a goal in only his first professional season. The English teen has had a range of big clubs scout him over recent seasons but since his integration into the Saints first team, Manchester United, Newcastle and other Premier League clubs have ramped up their interest.

A central midfielder, a winger, an attacking midfielder, you name it, Dibling can play there. Scoring half of Southampton’s goals in the Premier League, Dibling shows no signs of slowing down and could get his big money move come next summer.

Jhon Duran

The 20 year old Colombian joined the Midlands side from MLS outlet, Chicago Fire in 2022. Since Duran’s arrival, he has proven that he has what it takes to go to the very top of the game.

4 goals in 131 minutes in the Premier League. Duran has the best shots per 90, xG per 90, goals per 90 and second shots on target per 90 in the Premier League just behind Erling Haaland.

Receiving over 40 bids from teams all over the world, Aston Villa and Unai Emery are aware of the star that they have on their hands. Scoring 5 goals in 5 substitute appearances, Duran is doing everything he can to earn those starting 11 minutes but will have to maintain this form to be able to knock Ollie Watkins off his pedestal.

Rico Lewis

Heading into his third season in first team football at Manchester City, Rico Lewis looks better than ever. Being eased into first team football in the 2022/23 season then seeing more minutes last season, Lewis looks like he is slowly becoming a regular with an ageing Kyle Walker’s form starting to deplete.

The teenager has the ability to play right back, in the 6, 8 and 10 role for Manchester City and has been doing so. His progression up the pitch when his side attacks is promising and has been a great help to his side that is slowly but surely ageing rapidly.

Lewis keeping the likes of John Stones, Kyle Walker and Mateo Kovacic is testament to his ability for such a young age. Already securing international call ups and not disappointing. The sky's the limit for Rico Lewis as he is looking to add a 3rd Premier League medal to his, already, very impressive collection.
