Top 5 best EFL Free Agent Signings Since Transfer Deadline Day
With the Summer Transfer Window ending at 11pm on 30th August, some clubs in the English Football League have still been active in the free agents market.
Here are some free agent deals that you may have missed since the end of the Summer Transfer Window:
1. John Fleck to Chesterfield
The 33 year old Scotland international has been without a club since he left Blackburn Rovers at the end of last season.
The former Rangers and Sheffield United midfielder started to train with Chesterfield whilst looking for his next club, however, Chesterfield took their chance and decided to offer the experienced Scot a 1 year contract.
Chesterfield currently sit just above mid table in League Two and with the addition of John Fleck to Paul Cook's midfield, it gives his new side a chance to achieve great things this season.

2. Victor Moses to Luton Town
Having left Spartak Moscow in the summer, 33 year old Victor Moses has just been signed by Luton Town.
After seeing out his contract with Spartak Moscow, recently relegated Premier League side Luton Town did not hesitate to sign a very experienced midfielder who has played for the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Fernebache, Stoke City and many more fantastic Premier League sides.
As well as providing brilliant experience to an extremely struggling Luton side, Moses still has the quality that can help Luton get back to their previous dominant ways that they once possessed in the Championship.
Excited to sign for Luton Town!

4. Steven Alzate to Hull City
Steven Alzate has put pen to paper on a two year deal with Hull City with the option of a further one year. The Colombian featured 51 times for Brighton including 43 Premier League appearances.
The 26 year old left Brighton at the end of the 2023/24 season and was signed by Hull on the 9th September as a last minute addition to their squad which fans were sceptical over.
A Premier League midfielder set to be in their prime for a hungry Hull City side who currently sit 19th (as of when this is written) but will be starving to climb the Championship table as high as they can.

5. Freddie Ladapo to Huddersfield Town
Ladapo featured 17 times last season in the Championship for newly promoted and Premier League side Ipswich Town before leaving on loan to Charlton Athletic.
The League One proven striker makes his return to the league and will be a great asset to Huddersfield as Ladapo has scored 67 goals and 12 assists during his time in League One over the years.
The 31 year old has not played consistent football since Ipswich's promotion to the Championship but a return to League One football, Lapado could be exactly what Michael Duff and Huddersfield need in order to push for their return back to the Championship after relegation last season.
