Tottenham Hotspur Interested In Monaco Gem

Spurs have shown an interest in Monaco starlet Maghnes Akliouche according to The Spurs Web.

The 23-year-old has been the topic of conversation amongst Tottenham Hotspur fans today, as the club have only signed two first team players since the January transfer window opened.

Will Akliouche sign for Tottenham Hotspur this January transfer window?

The chances of Akliouche becoming a Lilywhites player this transfer window are very slim. This is because Monaco would want to sign a replacement before letting the 23-year-old depart.

This is something that the French based side would struggle to do considering there are only a few hours remaining in the transfer window. It therefore seems more viable that a deal is pursued in the summer rather than in January.

The French international has made 19 appearances in Ligue 1 for Monaco so far this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Akliouche scored on the weekend against Rennes after coming off the bench as a half time substitute.
