Weghorst has been in good form as of late, scoring a crucial winner against Poland in matchday one of Netherlands’ Euro 2024 campaign. Club wise, he has scored seven goals and recorded four assists in 30 games across all competitions.
The Telegraph, Football Park ranked tier two source, have said that the Dutch striker is not too keen on playing in the Championship subsequent to Burnley’s relegation last season.
Ajax are said to be monitoring the situation as there could be potential moves away from the club for Akpom, Brobbey and club captain Bergwijn.
After poor loan spells at Besiktas and Manchester United, could he have a late rejuvenation of his career at the all time league winners of the Eredivisie in Ajax?
