West Ham React to Deadline Day Wan-Bissaka Liverpool Links

West Ham have been strongly linked with a move for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, but a move inolving a defender currently at the London Stadium will not be happening, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to stay at West Ham despite loose links to Liverpool.

According to Hammers News, a spokesperson for the club stated that any talk of the right-back leaving West Ham on deadline day were "rubbish". With no talks taking place.

Wan-Bissaka Going Nowhere

Wan-Bissaka has impressed at West Ham since his 2024 move to East London from Manchester United, winning the club's 'Hammer of the Year' award in his debut season, and has continued as one of The Irons strongest players despite flirting with relegation this season.

Liverpool have been in the market for a right-back, and were in talks with Sunderland over a deal for Lutsharal Geertruida, however Sunderland decided to keep the Dutchman. The Reds have agreed a deal to sign French wonderkid Jeremy Jacquet for the Summer, but no immediate incomings are expected at Anfield before the deadline today.
