This game gets underway at 8:15pm on Tuesday 2nd April.

West Ham vs Tottenham Hotspur Stats

In terms of head-to-head stats, the last time these two met this season, it was West Ham that left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium victorious. Despite Christian Romero taking the lead, a superb performance from Jarrod Bowen saw him score the equaliser and create the winner, for James Ward-Prowse.

That win in early December for the Hammers, was their first against Spurs since 2021. If they're able to defeat them this week, it will be their first league double against their London rivals since the 2013/14 season, 10 years ago.

These two teams have played each other 222 times in their history, West Ham winning 67 of those games, drawing 54 and losing 101.

So far this season, West Ham's top goal scorer is Jarrod Bowen with 19 goals in 38 games, his best ever season at the club for goals so far. Summer signing Mohammed Kudus is second with 13 successful strikes. Whilst Tomas Soucek has scored 9 goals.

James Ward-Prowse has the most assists for the home side this week, with 11 in all competitions. Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Vladimir Coufal have all provided 7 goals.

For Spurs, it's Son Heung-min who's stealing the show. He has the most goals (15) and assists (8) for his club, at the age of 31. The South Korean international is averaging 0.62 goals per 90. Richarlison is next up with 11 goals in 2023/24, whilst Dejan Kulusevski is in 3rd with 6.

After Son, when it comes to assists during the first season of Ange Postecoglou's reign, Brennan Johnson, James Maddison and Pedro Porro all have 7.

West Ham vs Tottenham Standings

After last season's Europa Conference league triumph, West Ham have gone on to have a far more successful league campaign than last time out. They finished 14th in 2022/23, on 40 points and just 6 points above the relegation places. Now, not only are they still in the Europa League, but also eyeing up a top 7 finish, keeping themselves in a European competition for a 5th consecutive season.

Coming into this game, West Ham are 7th on 44 points, 4 behind Manchester United in 6th.

Although West Ham are having a good season, Spurs have managed to separate themselves above 6th place, and are in contention for what seems to be that final Champions League spot. Coming into this game, the away side are 5th with 56 points, three behind Aston Villa in 4th.

Ange Postecoglou Spurs manager

Spurs missed out on European football in 2023/24 after their 8th place finish. This season, they'll be hoping to end that streak.
