The young EFL ballers that have been called up to England Under 21's

James Beadle (Sheffield Wednesday)

20 year old goalkeeper, James Beadle is on loan at Championship side Sheffield Wednesday from Premier League side, Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 20 year old shot stopper has played every minute in the league so far and kept 2 clean sheets in the process.

England under 21 interim boss, Ben Futcher could be giving Beadle his first piece of u21 football as the loanee is still seeking his first handful of minutes with this England side.

Sam Tickle (Wigan Athletic)

Another goalkeeper in the England u21 set up from the English Football League. The 22 year old is a regular for Wigan and has kept 5 clean sheets in a row in League One.

Only making a singular appearance for the Under 21 set up, Sam Tickle will be adamant to pick up some more minutes after his recent perfect form for his club.

Playing every game so far for Wigan, Tickle has kept 6 clean sheets and only conceded 5, the 22 year old is screaming for some more minutes under Futcher.

James Trafford (Burnley)

The starter and goalkeeper that is due his first senior call up, Trafford has been the first choice goalkeeper for Burnley since the reign of Vincent Kompany and pushed out the likes of well established Premier League keepers like Arijanet Muric, James Trafford is destined to be the next England number 1.

3 clean sheets from 7 fixtures in the Championship, Trafford’s transition to top flight football was slow but he is now there and showing why he deserved to be given that time to adjust.

Rumoured with Newcastle and still on the radar of childhood club Manchester City, Trafford will, without a doubt, reach the top of the game.

Callum Doyle (Norwich)

Manchester City loanee Callum Doyle is on yet another Championship loan spell and is showing why he has what it takes to go to the big leagues.

2 goals and 1 assist from centre back in 8 matches. Callum Doyle would fit in perfectly to a Manchester City side that is due a re-up on fantastic youth players integrating into the first team.

Playing every minute so far in the Championship, this could well and truly be his last loan spell before picking up first team minutes for the Premier League champions.

Hayden Hackney (Middlesborough)

Hayden Hackney has become a regular within the England Under 21 set up having featured 5 times and has proven himself to be something special.

The 22 year old has started off this season very well having scored twice for Middlesborough in the Championship from defensive midfield.

Starting every game this season and playing nearly every minute, Hackney has cemented himself in this Middlesborough side as one of the most influential and consistent players.

Jay Stansfield (Birmingham City)

The record signing for any club in League One, Jay Stansfield has been lighting up League One with 5 goal contributions in all competitions this season.

Signing for a record £15 million, Stansfield has a point to prove and has already got off on the perfect tracks under Chris Davies’ side.

A team that is expected to trash League One and go straight back to the Championship, Jay Stansfield is at the front of that line and will without a shadow of a doubt, boost his side to meet those expectations.
