What exactly did Enzo Fernandez say to Mason Mount?

Chelsea pulled off a dramatic 4-3 win against Manchester United last night thanks to two late goals from Cole Palmer, but it was Enzo Fernandez that stole the headlines having been seen confronting former Chelsea man Mason Mount at the final whistle.

The former teammates clashed on multiple occasions during the game after Mount was brought on late. But it was Enzo who had the last laugh come full time.

Two Palmer goals in less than two minutes meant that, despite United leading 3-2 heading into the 90th minute, Chelsea came away with all three points.

Amongst the celebrations, Fernandez took the opportunity to taunt in the face of the former Chelsea hero.

A video that emerged on X showed Enzo pounding the Chelsea badge and shouting something towards Mount. Rumours have circulated as to what Fernandez said to the Manchester United midfielder but no clear answer has been made.

However, Argentine newspaper Diario Ole have suggested that Fernandez infact said:

“Remember where you are, you vain poorly-birthed as*hole”

Blues fans worldwide have, of course, shown their support for Fernandez having given their former star a less than warm welcome back to Stamford Bridge.

Boos rang round the stadium everytime Mount touched the ball and one fan even had a “Judas 19” shirt. 19 being the number Mount wore at Chelsea.

No matter what Fernandez said to Mount, it is clear that the former Chelsea turned Man United man won’t be welcomed back to Stamford Bridge again anytime soon.
