What Is The Longest Unbeaten Run in UEFA Champions League History?
Manchester City’s 4-0 triumph over Sloavkian side Slovan Bratislava means that the 2023 Champions League winners have the longest unbeaten run in Champions league history after not losing for 25 consecutive matches.
Manchester City have matched fellow Manchester side, Manchester United’s 25 match unbeaten streak that they help from 2007 to 2009.

Manchester City’s unbeaten streak consists of 16 wins and 9 draws with their biggest win coming against RB Leipzig in a 7-0 thrashing against the German side in which Erling Haaland scored 5 of them.
Now you may be thinking that Manchester City were knocked out of the Champions League last season to eventual winner Real Madrid, so how is their unbeaten streak still going? As a matter of a fact, their loss on penalties does not register as a loss and much so as a draw, due to the final result after 120 minutes being a draw.
As well as both Manchester clubs containing a 25 game unbeaten streak, and Manchester City looking to add to that streak in the coming weeks, other clubs that have come close but not close enough consist of: Ajax with a 20 game unbeaten streak between 1985 and 1996 and Bayern Munich with a 19 game unbeaten streak which they done on two separate occasions in 2001 to 2002 and 2019 to 2021.
