Who is missing?
Three remarkable players have not made it into the squad. Sancet, Asensio and Sarabia were players who were regularly seen with the Spanish kit, however, de la Fuente has decided to not call them up. Instead, players like Aleix García, Alex Baena and Ayoze Perez will be making their first EURO appearance.
Offical Squad announcement
This is only a provisional squad, meaning de la Fuente still has to discard three players, taking it down to 26 players. This list will be presented after the scheduled friendlies against Andorra and Northern Ireland.
Barcelona and Real Sociedad will represent the most players (5), followed by Athletic and Real Madrid. A total of 16 clubs.
Spain will make their debut on the 15th June against Croatia (18:00 hours). Furthermore, they will play against Italy on the 20th June (21:00 hours) and finish the group stage against Albania on the 24th June (21:00 hours).
