Who Is The Striker Chelsea And Aston Villa Are Both Interested In?

Tier one Football Park rated source Sky Sports Germany have announced that both Aston Villa and Chelsea have piqued their interest in signing Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier.

The German striker bagged 16 goals and 3 assists from 33 Bundesliga games last season, finishing fifth in the top goalscoring charts. Domestically per 90 minutes, Beier averaged 3.04 shots, 1.44 shots on target, 1.22 successful dribbles and 0.33 interceptions.

Aston Villa would be the team that most needs Beier’s services with Jhon Durán looking more likely to depart the Birmingham based club to join West Ham everyday. Beier would serve in a backup role as Emery won’t want to replace Ollie Watkins, a man that provided 19 goals and 13 assists in the Premier League last year.

Chelsea have never really replaced the void that Didier Drogba left, 12 years on since his first stint at the club. Around 15 players have been brought in but you could count on one hand those who performed well out of those strikers. They are currently left with Nicholas Jackson, someone who fans are not happy with after a lot of woeful displays and horrendous attempts at goal.

At the end of the day its up to Beier and Hoffenheim to agree to a deal from only one of them. He is a young and talented player who has great potential to do amazing things.
