Who Will Alexis Sanchez Play For Next Season?

09/06/24 19:56

A Spanish news outlet, Diaro AS has revealed that former Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Inter Milan winger Alexis Sanchez, has several clubs to choose from this summer.

Sanchez no longer has a contract with Italian Serie A Champions Inter Milan, after it expired this summer.

The 35-year-old made 33 appearances over a successful season for the club, but will not sign a renewal with them.

According to Diaro, who FootballPark.com ranks as Tier 2 when it comes to reliability, Sanchez will have the options of signing for either Argentina’s River Plate, Turkey’s Trabzonspor, USA’s Inter Miami and Italy’s Parma and Udinese.

A return for Sanchez at Udinese would certainly be fitting for the two-time FA Cup winner. Sanchez first signed for the fellow Italian club back in 2006, when he made the bold move from his home nation, at the age of 17.

Sanchez went on to eventually be snapped up by Barcelona in 2011, where he won four major trophies. Next came a transfer to Arsenal, where he was loved by the fans for his electric goal-scoring ability. Sadly for the Gunners though, he betrayed them in the January of 2018, with a back-stabbing switch to rivals Manchester United.

The two-time Copa America winner would go on to play for Inter Milan and Marseille.
