Why Is Noussair Mazraoui Being Stopped From Joining Manchester United?

29/07/24 17:20

Manchester United are heavily interested in bringing in Moroccan rightback Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

Tier one Football Park ranked source Fabrizio Romano writes that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs over the player. It would be a five year deal ending in 2029 and includes the option to extend the contract an extra year. Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro both have the same clause in their contract.

However, this deal can only commence after the sale of current rightback Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has become out of favour in the Manchester United starting 11. Once the departure has occurred, Mazraoui can complete the long awaited saga.

Nevertheless, there is a possibility that United are unable to shift on Wan-Bissaka. In that case then the deal will most likely fall through as United don’t want to spend more money on players before receiving some sort of money for selling unwanted players.
