The news comes after Celtic's defeat to old rivals Rangers on Saturday, which was Nancy's sixth defeat in eight games in the job - he leaves with a win percentage of only 25%.
Nancy, who was appointed on a two-and-a-half-year contract from MLS side Columbus Crew, became the first Celtic manager to lose four games in a row since Jock Stein back in 1978. Celtic did recover to win back-to-back games against Aberdeen at Celtic Park and Livingston at the Home of the Set Fare Arena but losses to Motherwell at Fir Park and Rangers at home mean it's the end of the road for the Frenchman along with his assistant coaches Kwame Ampadu, Jules Gueguen and Maxime Chalier.

Celtic have also parted company with head of football operations Paul Tisdale, who has been in the role since October 2024.
No word yet on who Celtic will bring in as an interim manager but it could be left up to Martin O'Neill once again after his brief spell as interim manager earlier in the season, when they won seven out of their eight games under his leadership.
