Wolves Agree Terms With Portuguese Wonderkind
A tier 1 reliability journalist has revealed that Wolves have secured the signing of an electric young winger, whilst beating competition from Bournemouth, Atletico Madrid and German giants in the process.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a deal to sign Rodrigo Gomes from Portuguese side Braga on a five-year deal.

According to Ornstein, the Premier League club has snapped up the 20-year-old for just ÂŁ12.7 million, with a contract set to last five years with an option of one more on the line.
Gomes spent last season on loan from Braga, at fellow Portuguese side G.D. Estoril Praia. Whilst there, the set-to-be new Wolves winger scored nine and assisted eight in 36 games in all competitions.
For context, that’s a better goal return than Jack Grealish, Marcus Rashford and Gabriel Martinelli in 2023/24.
Gomes has risen through the academy ranks at Braga, and has represented his national side at every age since 16.
With a move to Wolves set to get underway this week, Gomes looks to be an extremely exciting young talent.
