
Bristol City star Anis Mehmeti has been tipped for a switch to bottom-Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the late stages of the transfer window.
Rob Edwards and his side currently occupy the very bottom spot of the English top flight, having accumulated just eight points from 22 games this season, sitting 14 points away from Nottingham Forest in a safe 17th.
As such, the club have looked into new targets to bolster their steadily-improving form ahead of an escape attempt, and are set to rival Ipswich Town for the services of the Robin's Albanian star.

As per Football Insider, Mehmeti is set to make an exit from Ashton Gate to one of Ipswich Town or Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 25-year-old has been one of the Championship's standout players this season with eight goals and six assists to his name, but his contract nonetheless ends at the end of this current season, leaving Ipswich Town and Wolves tempted in the possibility of securing his arrival.

Mehmeti has been a Robin for the last three years, having been bought originally by Nigel Pearson from Wycombe Wanderers in League One.
Since his arrival, he has netted 26 times and put up nine assists in 136 matches in all competitions for the club. He has been one of the league's best players this season amidst Bristol City's hopeful playoff push, and has contributed a further 15 combined goals and assists this season so far.
