Signing for West Ham back in August 2023, Irving spent a season-long loan at Austrian outlet SK Austria Klagenfurt. In the 2024/2025 season, the player made 11 appearances for the Hammers as the side finished 14th.
The now 25 year old made his debut for the Scotland national team earlier this year, featuring in a 4-0 victory of Liechtenstein.

Irving is traditionally a central midfielder who is capable of playing in defensive roles, however, he is not averse to adding goal contributions to his game either, picking up 9 goals and 4 assists during his time in the Austrian first division.
With Wrexham looking to make it 4 promotions in a row, the club have made some shrewd acquisitions this window. This includes experienced Championship players Nathan Broadhead and Kieffer Moore, as well as 32 year old veteran defender Conor Coady.
Drafted. Signed. Boldly brewed. Welcome to Wrexham, Nathan Broadhead.

Manager Phil Parkinson will be looking to make a strong case for promotion this season, and by adding some proven experience in Andy Irving, the Red Dragons can be sure to make a noise in the Championship this season.
