What on God's green earth is going on in the Spanish capital?

In the space of around three days or so, the La Liga giants have seen petitions circulated around the fanbase to send Kylian Mbappe packing from the club, with sideways snide shots being sent his way on social media by his own teammates, and now a training ground scrap between midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni has seen the former sent to HOSPITAL. They are in meltdown mode!

In the past few weeks, according to reports from source close to Real Madrid:

• Few weeks later Rüdiger was screaming at Carreras to the point the team had to force Rüdiger to apologize

And this isn't even the first fracas between the duo either. This feud is something that has carried over from Wednesday, where they had yet another bust-up on the training ground. This one ended with Valverde receiving a punch from his French teammate that has required the Urguayan to go to hospital for treatment on his injury, amidst what has been a bizzare few weeks, and indeed a bizarre season, for Los Blancos.

Valverde Hospitalised by His Own Teammate

Reports from Spain claim that Valverde's feud with Tchouameni is one that has carried over from Wednesday afternoon, and has ended with him sustaining a blow that requires medical attention. Marca broke the news, painting a picture of a "very serious" incident following an argument between the pair in the changing room.

Madrid players and staff members had to break the pair apart after a bust-up earlier in the week, and Thursday's altercation between the two has been described as "much worse" than the one a day before, after Valverde refused to shake Tchouameni's hand to make up from the initial spat. By the end of the day's session, they clashed once again inside the main building the Uruguayan was taken to hospital.

The flare-up all started from a training drill at Valdebebas after a foul between the two preceeded a heated argument, which spilled over after the session ended with an emergency meeting called for the club. After Valverde was sent to the hospital, it has been reported that Alvaro Arbeloa went to the hospital with him as he received stitches to his wound.

Real Madrid are in complete turmoil at the moment amidst a rare consecutive trophyless campaign. Six players at minimum are believed not to be on speaking terms with Arbeloa in the middle of a frosty club environment.

The spat between Valverde and Tchouameni is not the first at the club this season either, as other reports claim of former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger slapping left-back Alvaro Carreras, although it is believed the Germany international has apologised and buried the hatchet with the former Manchester United defender (perhaps take notes, Federico?)

And then there is the bizarre case of Kylian Mbappe. The French talisman and mega-millions star of the team is supposedly out of action due to injury at the moment, but has been spotted away with actress Ester Exposito during his period of recovery.

That, amongst other perceived attitude problems (he got into a verbal confrontation with a Los Blancos coaching staff member) and sideways shots sent his way by his teammates on social media, has led to over 32 MILLION people signing a signature calling for him to leave the club. Xabi Alonso's January sacking from his position as Real Madrid manager came after the former Liverpool midfielder allegedly split the squad and caused a divide - with Mbappe being on Alonso's side, as per reports, he already had people going against him within the team.

The attacker’s reps responded online, saying: “Part of the criticisms are based on an overinterpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly supervised by the club.

“This is not corresponding to the reality of the commitment and the work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team.”
