Flemming Medical Finished Before Tractor Boys Move

Zian Flemming has finished his medical with Ipswich Town before finishing his £17m move away from Burnley, according to Ben Jacobs.

The former Millwall attacker was a key part of the Clarets' squad last season, netting 11 Premier League goals despite Scott Parker's side dropping back down into the Championship.

The 28-year-old's form has pricked the ears of a number of Premier League clubs as a result, with Ipswich accelarating their hopes of landing his signature today.

As Jacobs reports, they are now just moments away from bringing the Dutchman to Portman Road in a deal which may rise as high as £20m.

Flemming a Strong Buy

Few can deny that Zian Flemming is an incredibly talented player, and the right environment may make him stronger still.

Gary O'Neil's Ipswich Town side are desperate to retain their Premier League status this time around, having bounced straight back into the top flight following their relegation in 2025.

Flemming knows all about how to net goals for a side at the business end of the table, having struck 11 in the Premier League last term despite Burnley going down with a whimper into the second tier last term.

Tall, pacy and equipped with a rocket of a shot, his performances in claret and blue last season were a shining light in an otherwise bleak Premier League campaign, and those performances have only heightened the likelihood of his departure this summer.

He has been looked into by a number of Premier League and European clubs in this window, and it now seems certain that Ipswich is where he will call home for this coming term.
