Crystal Palace Given Hope

The transfer of Darío Osorio to Crystal Palace from FC Midtjylland for the Chilean winger is hanging by a thread after a deal sheet was submitted by the South London Club just in time.

The Premier League side had launched a bid to sign the forward with a loan this summer and an obligation to buy next summer.

It is reported Palace offered to structure the deal, paying £24m up front with a further £3.4m in add-ons.

This would be the third and final transfer on this crazy deadline day after Ben Chilwell was sealed. Quinten Timber we believe is still being finalised as we speak.

This is definitely one to watch out for as we enter into the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Chelsea Left Fuming As Lamine Camara Deal Collapses

Lamine Camara’s move to Chelsea has officially collapsed in a dramatic final twist on deadline day.

Monaco originally did not want to sell Camara and rejected Chelsea’s earlier bids, including an offer worth €45 million with bonuses.

The situation then changed when Folarin Balogun’s proposed move to Everton ran into medical problems. Monaco had been expecting a major fee from that transfer, and once doubts emerged around Balogun leaving, the club became more willing to discuss Camara with Chelsea.

That is what reopened negotiations and eventually led to Chelsea reaching an agreement in principle for Camara, with reports putting the deal at around €55 million.

Chelsea Left Without Enzo Fernandez Replacement

However, the transfer then fell through at the final stage.

Fresh reports say Chelsea are furious after Monaco reportedly reversed course despite a written club-to-club agreement being in place.

There had already been complications around the payment schedule and bonus structure earlier in negotiations, and the final details were ultimately not completed in time.

That leaves Chelsea in a very awkward position after Enzo Fernandez’s move to Manchester City.

Fernandez had been one of Chelsea’s most important midfielders, and the club had spent the day looking for a replacement, with both Camara and Roma’s Manu Koné under consideration.

Roma were reluctant to sell Koné, which pushed Chelsea back towards Camara, and for a period it looked like they had finally got the deal done.

Instead, the window has closed with no replacement arriving.

Chelsea are now left having to work with their current midfield options until at least January, and the collapse of the Camara deal will make the decision to let Fernandez leave look even more significant.

For a deal that appeared to be agreed only hours earlier, this is one of the most dramatic collapses of deadline day.

CONFIRMED - Spurs Seal Chelsea Double Deal

Spurs have confirmed the signings of Toisin Adarabioyo and Mykhaylo Mudryk from Chelsea.

Toisin has joined permanently and Mudryk has joined on a season-long loan.

Watford Wrap Up 3 Deals Just Before Deadline Day

There is just under 20 minutes until the end of the transfer window, and Watford have been very active. They have managed to sign three players before the deadline as they look to fight in the Championship.

The first is 28-year-old Stephy Mavididi from Leicester. He will be joining Watford on a season-long loan. They will have an option to buy; however, they don’t have any obligation to activate this option.

The next transfer is Soumaila Coulibaly from Strasbourg. The 22-year-old will join on a season-long loan as well. Standing at 6’2”, he will add some height and physicality to the side. It is likely this one could be made permanent based on his experience at the top level and his age.

The final deal is Myron Boadu. Joining from the Eredivisie, it will be an interesting move. However, the striker will add a new type of danger to the side. Having played at top clubs during his career, the Championship shouldn’t be the most difficult challenge for him. He joins on a two-year deal with an option for a further year.

However, it’s not all deals closed, as Riccardo Sottil’s move was called off. The 27-year-old winger will be staying in Italy with Fiorentina as it stands.

Renato Sanches Becomes Free Agent After PSG Exit

Renato Sanches is now a free agent after agreeing to terminate his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

The midfielder had been contracted until June 2027, but PSG clearly no longer saw him as part of their plans, making it logical for both sides to cut ties rather than continue a situation that was going nowhere.

Sanches had already been away from the main first-team setup earlier this summer, and it made little sense for him to continue his career in Paris.

The biggest question now is what comes next.

His time at PSG became defined by injuries, inconsistency and repeated loan spells, and that is something that could make clubs think twice before taking a chance on him.

Chelsea Agree Lamine Camara Deal

Out of nowhere, after having a bid rejected with less than two hours left of the transfer window, Chelsea have now agreed a deal to sign Lamine Camara from Monaco as they look to replace Enzo Fernandez.

It is an absolutely huge deal for Chelsea considering how late it has come in the transfer window and how difficult negotiations had looked earlier in the evening.

Chelsea have been very keen on finding a replacement for Fernandez and had been linked with Manu Koné throughout the day, but that deal proved much harder with Roma reluctant to sell.

That pushed Chelsea back towards Camara, and now things look to be done, with an agreement reached between the clubs.

Everton Have Balogun to Pannick

The Toffees are making a late, hopeful attempt at luring out-of-favour Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee to Merseyside, as reported by TalkSport's Alex Crook.

The Dutchman has already rejected a move to Fiorentina, opting to stay at Manchester United.

However, reports in the last few minutes suggest the move which, which would be a loan, is close to being agreed.

Everton looked set to coplete the signing of USA and Monaco striker Florian Balogun however, complications with the medical have forced the Premier League side to turn the attention elsewhere.

Sunderland see bid rejected for Leeds striker Okafor amid frantic deadline day

Sunderland saw a deadline day bid for Leeds forward Noah Okafor rejected, according to Alex Crook at TalkSport.

The reports suggest that, whilst the North-East club did test the waters, Leeds were quick to rebuff any approach and talks for a deal never really got off the ground.

Okafor was just one name on a list of many that Sunderland cycled through across the day in a bid to reinforce Regis Le Bris' attack, with the Black Cats ultimately getting their initial target in Malick Fofana.

The Swiss attacker would have marked an astute edition for Sunderland, but was only ever really a back up target on the off chance they failed to secure the services of either Fofana or Lukebakio who they are interested in secruing before the window closes.

Any deal for Okafor would likely have rested on the ability of Leeds to secure a replacement, something which is a big ask in such little time.

Daniel Farke has also been open about how important Okafor is to his squad and thus, the deal fell flat in its early stages.

Don't Skipp This One

After being relegated from the Championship, it was expected that Leicester would lose a few players. However, one man has stayed, or at least until now. Oliver Skipp has now drawn some attention from Championship side Charlton Athletic.

The 25-year-old had a difficult season last year, like the rest of his team. However, he could have a last-minute chance to play in the Championship again. It comes in the form of Charlton.

After finishing 19th last season, Charlton are looking to strengthen again as they look to avoid second-season syndrome. One of the men they plan to bring in is Oliver Skipp. The English midfielder is being considered for a loan deal.

The question is, will Skipp be able to break his curse, or will his curse follow him? With two straight relegations, could Charlton be the next victim of Skipp? Or will bringing him back to the capital break the curse?

Flemming Medical Finished Before Tractor Boys Move

Zian Flemming has finished his medical with Ipswich Town before finishing his £17m move away from Burnley, according to Ben Jacobs.

The former Millwall attacker was a key part of the Clarets' squad last season, netting 11 Premier League goals despite Scott Parker's side dropping back down into the Championship.

The 28-year-old's form has pricked the ears of a number of Premier League clubs as a result, with Ipswich accelarating their hopes of landing his signature today.

As Jacobs reports, they are now just moments away from bringing the Dutchman to Portman Road in a deal which may rise as high as £20m.

Manchester United Make Huge Late Push for Rayan Ait-Nouri

Alex Crook of talkSPORT has exclusively revealed that Manchester United are in fact making a push into their need for a left-back with a shock late push for local rivals Manchester City's Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Fans have been screaming out for a left-back all window and up until a few hours ago the hope of one arriving before the deadline looked to be over before this breaking news.

It has been stated from the Manchester City side of the story that there is no chance of the deal happening however with just over 2 hours left until the deadline whether United can make the breakthrough is yet to be seen.

The Algerian international has been more of a rotational piece during his time at City but despite this has kept up the clear level of talent that earned him the £40m move in the first place.

One Winger Said No, Another Said Yes - Millwall Have Their Man

It was just reported that one deal for a winger was dead. Ronald will be staying at Swansea. However, it isn’t all bad news for Millwall, as they have managed to get one winger over the line.

It was reported earlier that Millwall have agreed to sign 19-year-old Yanis Issoufou from Montpellier. It looks like this is all but done. The medical will be finished soon, and then it’s just the announcement.

He has played four matches this season, picking up 103 minutes so far. However, that limited game time hasn’t stopped him from scoring. While his time as a senior player is limited, the talent is there, and Millwall will be hoping they can bring it out.

He will be joining them, and while he isn’t the senior, established starter that they might have hoped to bring in, he is an exciting young player who will likely get better as the season goes on.

Monga on the Move (Again)

Teenage wonderkid Jeremy Monga is in the headlines once again as he is set to undergo a medical ahead of formalising a loan move to Championship regulars Swansea City.

The young winger, who only turned 17-years-old this summer, is about to pack his bags once again.

The former Leicester City academy Graduate made his Premier League and senior debut in April 2025 against eventual champions Liverpool.

He made the switch to Manchester City on the 11th July, signing a five-year contract with the Citizens, taking him through to the summer of 2031.

Monga was part of Enzo Maresca's pre-season squad in Hong Kong and no doubt the Italian manager had kept tabs on the Englishman during his time as Leicester City's head coach during the 2023/24 season.

Swansea Put the Wall in Millwall Over this Transfer

Millwall looked to have signed a new right-winger in the form of Swansea’s Ronald Pereira. However, that deal is now off after Swansea blocked the move. This transfer was a literal U-turn, as it’s reported that Ronald was in a car on his way to London.

Everything was ready, and it was reported earlier that a deal in the region of £2 million would be enough to land Ronald’s signature. However, the fine details have now stopped this transfer in its tracks, and he won’t be leaving.

This move has now left Millwall in a very difficult place, as they have very limited time to find any type of Plan B. However, they will be searching.

One thing we do know for sure is that the 25-year-old Brazilian will stay in Wales and won’t be playing in London next season.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again, Tomori's Back

After being frozen out of the squad, Tomori looks set to join back up with Ruben Amorim. He will be reintegrated into the AC Milan squad after being frozen out of the side following last season.

It was assumed that he would be sold this summer, and a new name would come in to replace him. However, as the transfer window in Italy has now slammed shut, we are seeing a change of heart.

Considering the fact that he played 33 games for them last season, starting 31 of those games, it came as a shock that he was deemed surplus to requirements. However, now that they have failed to replace him, they have come crawling back.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes before he plays a game again and to see what type of form and headspace the 28-year-old is in after this summer. Amorim has an interesting few weeks ahead to repair the relationship.

Derby pushing Fusseini

The Ghanaian winger has been subject of a lot of interest from championship clubs with Birmingham City heavily interested in the player before pulling out of the deal with Liam Miller more likely to join the Blues.

In the spirit of opportunity Derby County have now picked up from Birmingham left off on working with the deal with Union Saint Gilloise and the player. Dominic Dietrich first broke the news as the Ghanaian looks set on leaving the Belgian club.

Fuseini was left out of the squad ahead of the Apache’s 3-0 demolition win against Anderlecht this past Sunday at home.

The 23-year-old will be looking to regain the form he showed in his debut season at Union SG in the 2024/25 season earning the winger eleven goals and one assist in 44 appearances.

United Have a New Left Back, Or At Least a New Name

It has been said all summer that Manchester United need a new left back. Everyone was looking at names like Balde, and Lewis Hall. However, they might have got their man. He didn’t cost a penny either.

The man who we are talking about is their own 19-year-old talent Harry Amass. With Luke Shaw not looking at the level, he used to Amass could be set for a huge season.

What makes this even better for United fans is that he was a player that they actively tried to keep. Sides from across the country were trying to land his signature such as West Ham. However, United said no, and he will stay.

After some good loan spells his time could finally be here, and he could be the heir to Luke Shaw’s throne. The question is, will he be able to perform when the lights shine the brightest?

Everton have confirmed the permanent departure of Beto to Fiorentina in Serie A.

CONFIRMED - Brazilian Defender Seals Forest Exit

Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Morato has left the club to join West Ham on loan. Nuno Santo's side have an option to make the deal permanent down the line.

From One Welsh Side to Another

Cardiff have reached an agreement with fellow Welsh side Newport for Welsh youngster Tanatsaw Nyakuhwa. It looks like Nyakuhwa will be rejoining Newport this season, but this time for good.

After a loan last season where Nyakuhwa contributed two assists in 109 minutes, Newport have now made the move permanent. The left winger didn’t get much time to prove himself; however, his short periods on the pitch were more than enough to impress the club.

He will be hoping that this season he gets more time on the pitch to show his qualities as he looks to help Newport move up the football pyramid.

The soon-to-be 21-year-old will be one to watch in League Two, especially if he picks up consistent game time.

Crystal Palace Make Late Move for Marseille Midfielder Quinten Timber

The Telegraph's Mike McGrath reports that Palace have placed the 25-year-old Netherlands international high on their shortlist to bolster Pierre Sage's midfield options before the window shuts.

Timber, the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurriën Timber, only moved to Marseille from Feyenoord in January 2026 for €4.5 million. He established himself quickly in Ligue 1 during the second half of last season, lifting his Transfermarkt market value to €25 million.

Capable of operating across central, attacking, or defensive midfield roles, Timber has amassed 33 career goals and 40 assists across 207 professional appearances for Ajax youth, Utrecht, Feyenoord, and Marseille. On the international stage, he has earned 13 caps and scored one goal for the Netherlands.

Arsenal Set to Sign Georgian Wonderkid Andria Bartishvili

It may not be the huge attacking statement signing that the fans expected but Arsenal are currently finalising the signing of upcoming Georgian Wonderkid, Andria Bartishvili, who has been dubbed 'the next Kvaratskheila'.

He currently plays for Iberia 1999 in the Georgian league domestically but most of the hype around the 17-year-old comes from performances put in during international youth games.

He has bagged 2 in his last 2 for the Georgian under 18 side and primarily plays from the right wing or attacking midfield.

According to the information of Gunnerblog and The Athletic the youngster will join the Gunners once he turns 18 in 2027.

CONFIRMED - Jones Leaves Notts County

Notts County have confirmed the sale of popular Maltese winger Jodi Jones to fellow League One side Bromley.

Jodi Jones has completed a permanent transfer to Bromley.

The 28-year-old joins the Ravens for an undisclosed fee, bringing an end to his three-and-a-half years at Meadow Lane.

Stevenage Set on Setford

Arsenal prospect Tommy Setford is closing in on a loan move to Stevenage, according to the Athletic.

A loan move to Spanish side Las Palmas had been identified for the 20-year-old, but this has stalled in the final few hours. Now, League One side Stevenage are in pole position to land the talented goalkeeper.

Brighton Have Found Their New Future 100 Million Pound Midfielder

Brighton might have done it again. First it was Caicedo, then Baleba, and now a new midfielder has come in. On deadline day, they look to have completed the signing of 21-year-old midfielder Chema Andrés.

The Stuttgart talent had a breakthrough season last year after joining from Real Madrid. He played 25 matches, starting 14 of them.

He is defensively strong, having made 118 defensive contributions last season. He looks set to be the next player Brighton will look to develop. Standing at 6'2", he has the physical ability to play in the Premier League, while Brighton will look to develop the rest of his game.

He will join Brighton for £20 million with a sell-on clause. This could easily be the next player Brighton sell for £100 million in a few years' time.

Preston North End Lead Race for Celtic Striker Johnny Kenny in £3m Deadline-Day Swoop

According to reports from Alex Crook and Anthony Joseph, North End have moved into pole position to land the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international, beating out competition from Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side have made strengthening the front line a primary priority before tonight’s cutoff following significant summer squad rotation. Having missed out on alternative targets earlier in the window, PNE have shifted focus to secure the Sligo-born frontman on a permanent basis.

Kenny spent the second half of the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Bolton Wanderers, where he registered 6 goals and 3 assists in 14 appearances to help secure promotion to the Championship. Across his career with Shamrock Rovers, Sligo Rovers, Celtic, Queen's Park, and Bolton, the 23-year-old has amassed 54 goals and 16 assists in 174 appearances.

The Eagles Have Fought Off the Liver Bird – Sarr Stays

Palace have been picked apart this window. They have seen Lacroix, Johnson and Munoz leave. However, Ismaila Sarr will not be the next name to leave them.

Sarr was heavily linked with a move away from Palace, with Liverpool being the main name in the conversation. However, it is now being reported that the deal has gone cold and is all but dead.

The Senegalese winger scored nine goals in the league last season, as well as nine more in the Conference League. In all competitions, he ended the season with 21 goals, and with that output, you can see why Liverpool wanted him.

However, after signing Barcola, it looks like Liverpool are no longer as determined to land his signature. That has led to this deal being all but over, and Sarr will once again play for Palace.

Frankfurt Star Leeds Bound After Turning Down the Tigers

Leeds Look to Have Found Their New Left Winger

Leeds look to have found their new left winger. He comes in the form of 21-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt star Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

After playing 27 matches last season, starting 15 of them, Bahoya looks to have caught the attention of several Premier League sides. Earlier in the window, it was Hull who looked to bring in the French youngster. However, he now looks set to join Leeds United.

He was involved in seven goals last season in the Bundesliga and showed enough quality during the 1,300 minutes he played for top clubs to look at him as a left-sided option.

While Leeds are leading the race, Sunderland are still considering a late move as well, according to Ben Jacobs.

Reyes Cleary Hands in Barnsley Transfer Request Amid Championship Chase

Sky Sports News reporter Mark McAdam reports that several second-tier sides have been monitoring the 22-year-old attacker over the last year following his standout performances in League One.

The former West Bromwich Albion youth product has developed into one of the key offensive weapons at Oakwell, contributing 9 goals and 18 assists across 55 appearances for the Reds.

While Stoke City, Millwall, Bristol City, Derby County, and Blackburn Rovers remain attentive, interested suitors have been repeatedly put off by Barnsley's refusal to budge from their firm £5 million to £6 million valuation. Barnsley's stance is partly driven by a 20% sell-on clause owed to former club West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea Interested in Zubimendi And Gibbs-White as Deadline Nears

With Enzo Fernandez potentially moving in a record breaking deal to Manchester City, Chelsea could turn towards a late move for a Premier League star, with Martin Zubimendi and Morgan Gibbs-White both of interest to the Blues according to Ben Jacobs.

The Argentine has been subject of strong interest to Manchester City for some time, and it appears a deal is moving in the right direction on deadline day, with an expectation the deal will eventually be completed for around £120 million.

With that in mind, Chelsea are searching for a potential replacement if the midfielder leaves Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea are reportedly interested in both Morgan Gibbs-White and Martin Zubimendi.

Spurs Sticking in Gakpo Race Despite Lack of Liverpool Sale Intention

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly remain in the race to sign Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo before the transfer window slams shut tonight.

Spurs have maintained their interest in the Dutch international despite facing significant competition for his signature throughout the closing stages of the summer window.

According to SecretPrem, Tottenham remain in contention to secure the 27-year-old as Roberto De Zerbi's side consider further attacking reinforcements.

Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in the past few weeks, with Manchester City also attempting to secure his signature.

City reportedly submitted an £80 million offer for the forward, although Liverpool rejected the bid and are currently expected to retain Gakpo for the season ahead.

Blackburn Rovers Target Cut-Price Deal for Liam Chipperfield

The 22-year-old Swiss youth international is available at a cut-price fee with his contract at the Super League side entering its final 10 months, set to expire in June 2027.

Chipperfield, who joined Sion on a free transfer from FC Basel in July 2023, has established himself as a key creative presence in Switzerland. He coming off an impressive 2025/26 campaign where he bagged seven goals across 38 appearances.

Wrexham Reject James Approaches

Wrexham have turned down approaches from Cambridge United for 21-year-old defender Aaron James, with Phil Parkinson wanting to keep the academy graduate for first-team squad depth.

It's understood that James wanted to leave Wrexham, whether on a permanent or loan deal, in order to get more regular first-team football. However, with Wrexham having a relatively quiet transfer window, Parkinson is keen to keep the youngster as defensive cover for what will be another hard-fought season.

EXCLUSIVE - Dowell Considered by Preston

Preston North End are looking into a potential move for Hull City attacker Kieran Dowell before the window closes at 11pm tonight, Football Park understands.

The 28-year-old has been informed by manager Sergej Jakirovic that he will struggle to make registration for Hull's 25-man Premier League squad this season, and that a loan move would be the likely best option for him at this time.

This comes after the news from Hull Live that Sheffield United have turned down a chance to sign the former Everton midfielder on loan, after they face up with losing Callum O'Hare to Wrexham today.

It has not been revealed, at this time, how advanced any interest in Dowell is at the moment with Preston also reported to be considering a return move for Alan Browne - what is understood, however, is that interest in Dowell would likely cease should Browne return. He is viewed as an alternative at the moment.

Max Dean’s return to England off as Bolton deal collapses

Max Dean’s proposed return to England has fallen through, with negotiations between Bolton Wanderers and Belgian side KAA Gent breaking down over a sell-on clause, according to Pete O’Rourke.

Bolton had expected to complete a deal for the 22-year-old this week, with a seven-figure transfer seemingly enough to see them beat Championship rivals Millwall to his signature.

Instead, the Wanderers have been left empty-handed on deadline day, with Steven Schumacher now facing a race against time to strengthen his squad before the window closes at 11 pm tonight.

Current Burnley defender Axel Tuanzebe has been linked with a move away to Auxerre according to Jack Rosser.

The former Manchester United player has struggled to find regular playing time since departing The Red Devils at the end of the 2022/23 season.

He spent the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaigns with Ipswich Town and made 18 Championship appearances as well as 22 Premier League appearances for The Tractor Boys.

However, the following season he only managed 14 Premier League appearances for Burnley after changing clubs.

It means that Tuanzebe is still searching for regular first team football, and Auxerre could be the team that supplies it for the 28-year-old.

Auxerre currently sit rock bottom of Ligue 1 after losing their first two league games, but Tuanzebe could be the signing the club need to help steady the ship during a rough start to the season.
