Champions League chasing Real Betis head to the capital to face Atletico in the penultimate game of the La Liga season.
Atletico Madrid have had another very respectable campaign, almost mathematically locked in third place, behind only Real Madrid and Barcelona. They might be disappointed that they could not stay in the title race with the mentioned clubs, but they have been unable to stop dropping points often.
Betis have had an excellent campaign so far, Conference League finalists, and are still in with a chance to finish fifth in the league. They have lost just twice since the end of January in the league as they have balanced both the league and Europe well to allow them a chance at top five. A victory away in Madrid will be very difficult though.
As the game approaches, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.

In their last home game, Alexander Sørloth scored an incredible four goals in thirty minutes so he will hope to continue to cash in while he can. Of their 16 clean sheets, nine have come at home, so Jan Oblak will be hoping to make it 10 between the sticks at home this weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini will be without Hector Bellerin, Diego Llorente, Chimy Avila, Marc Roca and Francisco Veites for their trip to the capital.
Real Betis have been in fine form of late, picking up three wins and two draws in their last five league games. They had away victories over Girona, winning 3-1 and beating Espanyol 2-1 with a win at home over Real Valladolid 5-1. They have picked up two draws in their last two games however, drawing 1-1 with Osasuna before Thursday’s draw with Rayo Vallecano.
Their forward Cucho Hernandez has been in form recently, scoring in each of his last two matches, with Isco finding the net from the spot to complete their comeback draw against Vallecano so will also be looking to make an impact against a team which he will want to beat through playing for Real Madrid.
Atletico come out stronger on head-to-head comparisons, with three recent wins, to Betis’ one. Stretching further back, Atletico have won their previous six home games against Real Betis.
