League leaders Shamrock Rovers will play host St Patrick’s Athletic at the Tallaght Stadium on Monday evening in the Irish Premier Division.
Losing just three times so far, Shamrock sits two points clear at the top of the table. They were in the Conference League at the start of the season, which included going toe-to-toe with Chelsea for the first half-hour at Stamford Bridge, a group phase in which they finished 10th before losing out to Molde on penalties in the first knockout round.
St Patrick’s reside in fourth, just four points off Shamrock, and they have also endured a nice start to the campaign. They have been the definition of clutch so far, scoring many late goals to either win games, or seal the victory. So far, they have lost and drawn with Shamrock so will be looking to find a win in their third meeting of the 2025 campaign.
