Tottenham Hotspur continue their UEFA Europa League campaign on Thursday 7th November 2024 with a trip to Istanbul to take on Galatasaray at RAMS Park.
Both Galatasaray and Tottenham Hotspur have got off to great starts in their UEFA Europa League campaigns with both teams avoiding defeat in the three games they have played. Despite that this will be the biggest test for both teams setting this game up as a very interesting fixture.
Galatasaray Predicted Lineup - Fernando Muslera; Berkan Kutlu, Abdulkerim Bardakci, Davinson Sanchez, Kaan Ayhan; Gabriel Sara, Lucas Torreira; Yunus Akgun, Dries Mertens, Baris Alper Yilmaz; Victor Osimhen
Galatasaray have had an unbeaten start to the UEFA Europa League campaign leaving them 5th in the Europa League qualification stage. Right now this puts them in a qualification spot for the next round. They have won two and drawn one this campaign meaning they have seven points so far.
Believe it or not they have scored the joint most goals in the Europa League so far having scored nine goals so far. However, where they have been let down is their goals conceded. They have conceded six goals thus far. This is the joint third most.
Can they continue their unbeaten start against a tough to beat Tottenham side?
Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup - Guglielmo Vicario; Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin, Archie Gray; James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall; Timo Werner, Dominic Solanke, Mikey Moore
Similarly to their opponents this week, Spurs have also had an unbeaten start to their European campaign. This picking up nine points from a possible nine. They are currently second in the table.
Not only this but Ange Postecoglou's side have also scored six but more notably they have only conceded one goal. This the joint least in the Europa League.
With Postecoglou mentioning about his trophy winning record on a fairly constant basis are Spurs the team to beat in this competition?
Believe it or not, this will be the first time Galatasaray have taken on Tottenham Hotspur setting this up to be a historic fixture.
This is bound to be an interesting match between two very decent European sides. Both sides will be keen to maintain their unbeaten record.
However Spurs are certainly the stronger of the two sides and should come away with a win. However it won’t be easy. With Galatasaray’s good goalscoring record expect them to get on the scoresheet at least once.
We are backing Tottenham Hotspur To Win and Both Teams To Score in this game at odds of 14/5. These odds mean that £10 has the potential to return up to £38.
(Odds subject to change)
Galatasaray 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur
This will be an interesting match between two good sides. Expect goals in this game with both teams performing very well in front of goal. Spurs should win this game though as the stronger of the two teams.
