England look to make amends for their defeat against Greece as they travel to the Athens Olympic Stadium to take them on again in a UEFA Nations League clash on Thursday 14th November.
Greece have been fantastic in this UEFA Nations League campaign. However coming up against an England side that will be keen to make amends from their loss against them just one month ago this will surely be a close game.
Greece Predicted Lineup - Odysseas Vlachodimos; Konstantinos Tsimikas, Konstantinos Koulierakis, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Lazaros Rota; Petros Mantalos, Emmanouil Siopis; Christos Tzolis, Anastasious Bakasetas, Giorgos Masouras; Vangelis Pavlidis
Greece have been sensational so far in League B Group Two. They are top of the group with 12 points having won all four of their games. Including against their next opponents England just last month.
Not only this but across the Nations League campaign they have scored nine goals and only conceded one. If they can keep out England in this game similarly to how they did in the last match against them they could come away with another famous victory.
Vangelis Pavlidis managed two goals against the Three Lions last time out. But will he get on the scoresheet again here?
England Predicted Lineup - Jordan Pickford; Rico Lewis, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Kyle Walker; Conor Gallagher, Angel Gomes; Anthony Gordon, Jude Bellingham, Noni Madueke; Harry Kane
England sit second in the group right now having managed nine points from their opening four games of the competition. But they will be eager to win in this game first to get revenge for their defeat last time against Greece but also to impress incoming manager Thomas Tuchel who will join the nation in the new year.
England have a good goal scoring record. They have scored eight so far this tournament. While conceding just three. If they can continue to keep the ball out and score goals we are sure they can claim victory in this game as well.
It will bring confidence that Harry Kane has 17 goals in 16 games for Bayern Munich this season but he hasn’t scored for England since their victory against Finland. Will he get on the scoresheet again here?

These two nations have faced one another ten times so far in their histories.
England have a huge advantage with seven wins to their names. This while Greece have only won one game - the last match between the two teams. There have also been two draws in that time.
Before the previous match England were unbeaten against Greece. However Greece’s victory in the last match put a stop to that. Can England get back to winning ways against Greece in this match?
10th October 2024 - England 1-2 Greece - UEFA Nations League
16th August 2006 - England 4-0 Greece - International Friendly

6th June 2001 - Greece 0-2 England - FIFA World Cup Qualifier
17th May 1994 - England 5-0 Greece - International Friendly
This is sure to be a close game especially considering Greece’s good form and England’s eagerness for victory. However England are the stronger of the two sides heading into this game and we would expect that to show. England should come out victorious.
We are backing England To Win in this match with odds of 19/20. These odds mean that £10 has the potential to return up to £19.50.
