The Bundesliga continues this weekend with just three gameweeks left in the season as 7th-placed RB Leipzig host VfB Stuttgart in what promises to be a thrilling Europa League clash. The hosts are just outside the Europa League spots on goal difference, with 51 points, while Stuttgart sit four points behind them in 9th, still in with a chance of a late push for a European spot.
As the game approaches, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.
This game will be broadcasted on SkySports+, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30 GMT on Saturday.
RB Leipzig Predicted Lineup (4-4-2): Gulácsi; Nedeljković, Klostermann, Bitshiabu, Lukeba; Baumgartner, Seiwald, Vermeeren, Simons; Openda, Šeško
RB Leipzig come into this match off the back of a 0-0 draw against Werder Bremen, and they are without a win in their last four fixtures. The 0-0 result is surprising, considering the 17 goals in their previous five matches, and we could see more of the same on Saturday.
This season, Leipzig have not been as strong as last year, when they finished in fourth place with 65 points. However, they are still only four points behind Freiburg, who currently occupy the last Champions League spot.
VfB Stuttgart Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1): Nubel; Jeltsch, Chabot, Al-Dakhil, Mittelstädt; Karazor, Stiller; Leweling, Millot, Führich; Demirović
Stuttgart also enter this match on a poor run of form, having won just once in their last five Bundesliga outings. However, they have scored nine goals in that time, which likely points to their struggles at the other end of the pitch this season.
Much like the hosts, Stuttgart are experiencing a decline compared to last year, when they finished second in the Bundesliga and secured a Champions League spot. Despite this, they are still in with a chance of qualifying for the Champions League if they manage to win their final three fixtures.

RB Leipzig vs VfB Stuttgart Prediction
RB Leipzig 2-1 VfB Stuttgart
After a stunning win over Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, Borussia Dortmund are just a point away from European football next season, and a win over already relegated Holstein Kiel on the final day could either seal Europa League, or even vault them into fourth place, qualifying them for Champions League football in 2025/26.
Their 4-2 victory away to Leverkusen sent a message to their rivals that der BVB are more than prepared to take part in Europe’s premier competitions next season, and coming off the back of a performance as good as that, they will also know that they cannot afford to slip up, with the home side virtually guaranteed a win here against a side who’s fate has already been sealed.
With all places between fourth and seventh all to play for, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.
This game will be broadcasted on Sky Sports +, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30 GMT on Saturday.
Borussia Dortmund Predicted Lineup (3-4-2-1): Gregor Kobel (GK); Ramy Bensebaini, Waldemar Anton, Niklas Sule; Daniel Svensson, Felix Nmecha, Pascal Gross, Julian Ryerson; Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt; Serhou Guirassy.
Since finding themselves languishing in mid-table at the halfway stage of the season, Dortmund have shown a great strength of character to rescue their season and out them on the brink of Europe next year.
Superb showings in recent weeks from Guirassy, Adeyemi and Brandt have seen start to fully fire in front of goal, and with Kobel, Sule and Bensebaini finally starting to click at the back, it was inevitable that Dortmund were going to get out of first gear eventually.
However, the season is not over yet, and they need a win here to ensure they pile the pressure on fourth placed Freiburg, who lie one point above them, and face third placed Frankfurt on the final day. A Dortmund win and a Freiburg slip up would see Dortmund qualify for the Champions League, something that even three months ago many would have said was impossible.
Holstein Kiel Predicted Lineup (3-4-1-2): Thomas Dahne (GK); David Zec, Carl Johansson, Timo Becker; John Tolkin, Armin Gigovic, Magnus Knudsen, Lasse Rosenbloom; Steven Skrzybski; Shuto Machino, Alexander Bernhardsson.
Fair play to Holstein Kiel - they gave it a real go this season, and were so entertaining to watch. So often you see promoted sides adopt the strategy of sitting back and hitting on the counter-attack, something which is understandable, but nonetheless boring.
Not so with Kiel - they have tried to implement the strategy of Bundesliga’s most established side of playing out from the back and trying to dominate possession. Their goal total is far superior to other sides in and around the bottom three, but such an approach comes with great risk, hence their woeful defensive record.
While they will be returning to the second division next season, they certainly showed football fans that they are a side to keep an eye on, and if they can bring in some more experienced player’s ready to adapt to their strategy, it will pay off in the long run.
Recent Meetings:
With Dortmund chasing elite European competition next season, while Kiel have nothing left to play for except pride, this prediction is elementary. Dortmund will dominate from first kick to last, and will lead at both half time and full time.
Borussia Dortmund 4-1 Holstein Kiel.
With a full strength team out, it will be a feast of attacking football for Dortmund, and a win here will be a fine way to cap off a remarkable turnaround in their season.
Ligue 1’s final day of the season features Lille vs Reims on Saturday evening. The eight o’clock kick off will be played at the Decathlon Arena, as the home side could secure a Champions League qualification spot. On the other hand, the visitors could potentially be relegated if results do not go their way, so picking up points is vital for them.
Lille have had yet another respectable season in Ligue 1 this year. The Northmen sit in fifth spot, level on points with Nice in fourth – however, just lacking on goal difference. Moreover, they are also level on points with Strasbourg in sixth, adding fuel to the end-of-season fire. A win on Saturday could earn Lille a qualifying spot for the Champions League if results go their way. Although if they hold down sixth, they confirm a Europa League place. The French team’s form has been admirable heading into the season’s closure, as they have picked up three wins and one draw out of their last five matches. However, Bruno Genesio’s men did lose their last match away to Brest, which put a stop to their top three hopes and hindered their competition with Nice and Strasbourg.
Reims have had a season to forget. The Red and Whites occupy 14th spot, just two points ahead of Le Havre in the dreaded relegation qualification place in 16th. Due to Reims’ superior goal difference, a point minimum in this fixture should be enough to remove any relegation doubt for Samba Diawara’s outfit. Their form does not look too promising though; Reims have lost both of their last two games, including one to to Saint Etienne who sit in the relegation zone three points off Reims. On top of staying up, Reims also have a cup final approaching. They play Paris Saint-German in less than two weeks, with the winner being crowned Coupe de France champions.
Lille Predicted Line-Up: Chevalier, Ismaily, Ribeiro, Mandi, Meunier, Bentaleb, Mukau, Fernandez-Pardo, Haraldsson, Akpom, David
Jonathan David will be hot property this summer to come. The Canadian has tallied up 16 goals and five assists in Ligue 1 this season, making him the fourth top scorer in the league. It is not David’s first rodeo either; the 25-year-old has racked up 87 goals across the five seasons he has played in the French top tier and will be a key asset for Lille heading into this game.
Reims Predicted Line-Up: Diouf, Akieme, Gbane, Okumu, Kipre, Sekine, Nakamura, Koné, Edoa, Tia, Pefok
Keith Nakamura is Reims’ biggest goal threat in this match. The winger has 11 goals and two assists in Ligue 1 this season, after finally hitting the ground running in France. However, the 24-year-old has not scored a goal in his last four matches, ever since his magnificent brace against Lens in April.
This is a tie that has most definitely gone either way in the past. These two French teams often alternate the three points each time they play, however this season’s reverse fixture back in August went the way of Lille. The Northmen won 2-0 on the night, as a goal in additional time of both halves settled the contest. The last five meetings between these sides are as follows:
Both teams have so much riding on this last game of the season. However, with Lille desperate to lock in a spot in the anticipated Champions League, they will bring out everything they have got at home in this fixture.
For that reason, our betting experts have suggested that Lille to Win is the best value tip for this game. Odds on Ladbrokes and Coral of 1.4 mean that a £10 stake has the potential to return £14!

The Bundesliga continues this weekend as already relegated Bochum travel to face relegation-threatened St. Pauli. Bochum currently sit rock bottom of the Bundesliga and are set to be relegated back to the second division. St. Pauli, on the other hand, are in danger of facing the same fate.
The hosts currently sit just three points above the drop zone with three games to play. However, their goal difference is significantly better than those in the relegation zone, meaning that just one more win could be enough to secure their safety for another year.
As the game approaches, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.
This game will be broadcasted on OneFootball, with kick-off scheduled for 14:30.
St Pauli Predicted Lineup (3-4-2-1): Voll; Nemeth, Wahl, Ritzka; Saliakas, Boukhalfa; Smith, Treu, Guilavogui, Afolayan; Sinani
St. Pauli have struggled to secure wins recently, managing just one victory in their last seven games. However, they have still managed to accumulate seven points during this run, including four draws. Their last outing saw a 2-2 draw away at Frankfurt, where they were leading until the 71st minute, before Batshuayi equalised to level the game.
