Free Multi Bet Tips: Wolves vs Liverpool Preview and Bet Builder Tips and Predictions

Wolves and Liverpool face off in this Premier League clash, with the hosts looking to continue their mini resurgence and continue to restore whatever form of pride they can, despite being condemned to relegation barring a miracle. Liverpool are looking to continue their recent form, which has steadied the ship after that poor run that saw them slip down the Premier League table.

Despite their impressive victory over Aston Villa, Wolves still find themselves a massive 14 points from safety but with the peace of mind to know that they no longer face the possibility of beating Derby's lowest-ever points total. Wolves have actually only lost one of their last five games and will see this as a free hit against Liverpool on home soil.

Liverpool have the chance to knock Aston Villa out of the top four should they come away with the victory in this midweek game and are currently on a run of four wins on the bounce. They will come into this one with confidence but wary of a slip-up against the pressure-less Rob Edwards side.

The Research

Low Risk

Three of Liverpool's last five games have resulted in over 2.5 goals, with Wolves proving they have the ability to mix it with the big boys in that 2-2 draw against Arsenal. The hosts will cause problems during the game, and coming off the high of the Villa game, they could well be keen to get the goals flowing again. Liverpool have been a little dodgy defensively this season but have still enjoyed scoring goals, meaning this one could be filled with excitement.

Hugo Ekitike has averaged over one shot on target per 90 across the season, and, following a goal and two assists last time out, Ekitike will be looking to continue that level of output here and could have a few shots against a poor Wolves defence.

Liverpool love a corner, as referenced by the 10 they had last time out against West Ham, and could be on the front foot for the most part here, which will likely see them have the majority of possession in the Wolves territory. Should they struggle to break down the low block, we could see them play for corners to create chances.

High Risk

Wolves' double chance is, of course, risky given that Liverpool are the clear favourites, but, coming off the back of a brilliant winner and with their form looking up of late, they will likely believe they can get something out of the game if they can put some doubt in Liverpool's minds.

Liverpool have been free-scoring at points this season and will likely have a lot of the ball here. They have been prone to leaving gaps at the back, though, which could see Wolves' counter-attacking style draw some success. This one gives the feel of a game that could have goals.

Tolu Arokodare didn't start against Aston Villa and may well not start again here, but visions of the big man coming off the bench to rescue a point or secure an unexpected victory for the home side are running riot. Should he start, the game could suit Arokodare's physical nature, and given the current goal drought he is on, it could be an opportunity to get on the scoresheet.
