Getafe Double Chance

Girona, to put it bluntly, have been awful so far in this season's La Liga. This isn't to say that Getafe have exactly blown anyone away either with their distinctive mid-table position at the moment, but they have been faring far better than Man City's sunnier sister has managed thus far into the campaign.

Getafe have set themselves out as being tricky to score past. They've only conceded 12 goals all season (the same amount as a certain Barcelona) and have just broken a 5-game winless run thanks to back-to-back wins - a 1-0 slip away from Athletic Club and a mighty 11-0 thrashing of minnows Inter Valdemoro in cup action.

Girona have failed to win a single game on the road all season, drawing twice and losing the other two when on their travels. In fact, they have only won the one game all season long, which was a surprise win over Valencia.

Scoring-wise, they actually aren't too bad. Their 9 goals this season is the same amount as 9th-placed Athletic Club. However, their creaky defence offers up so many paltry chances, seeing them concede 22 goals at the top of that stat sheet. The logic of them stopping the rot at some point applies, and they have been okay with getting draws on the road as mentioned, so back Getafe with the added security of a double chance line.

Dortmund to Win and Over 1.5 Match Goals

Whilst many quite rightly associate the Bundesliga with the careless defending and high-octane football that has seen many players look better than they are coughWirtzcough, Borussia Dortmund have been a touch more composed than their mental table-neighbours this season.

The famous Black and Yellow have considered a more measured approach to their games as of late, conceding just a league-2nd-best 6 goals all season whilst scoring 14 for themselves. They currently sit 4th in the Bundesliga table, and are amidst a nice three-game winning run after beating Koln, Copenhagen and Frankfurt in their last encounters.

Augsburg should not pose too much of a threat here. They are amidst a barren 3-game winless run and have just had to comprehend with a 6-0 hammering at the hands of everyones favourite energy drink-driven club, as well as an embarassing DFB Pokal exit to VFL Bochum from the league below. Back Dortmund to take the points, and subsidise this with an over 1.5 Match Goals line that has landed in 6 of Dortmund's last 8 matches.

Coventry to Win

Is it a bold claim to say that Frank Lampard is piecing together one of the best Championship teams we have seen for years?

As the big boys have dropped down from the Premier League and largely struggled, the onus was on someone who already plied their trade in England's second-tier to pick up the mantle and put together a more-than-meaningful title charge. Sitting 5 points clear in the automatic promotion spaces without a single league defeat to their name this season, Coventry certainly look like they could be on their way to the promised land at the end of the season.

They have been the best away side in the Championship this season, winning four and drawing two of their road visits elsewhere, and they face a visit to North Wales up next to take on the Hollywood machine of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Wrexham are a gritty team to play against, but they sit a measly 19th in the Championship on home form alone, winning just once whilst drawing three and losing another.

Coventry will be the heavy favourites here, and the fact that they are away from home means the odds are boosted somewhat to a nice 1.80. Perfect for an individual prop bet, and brings the value of our ACCA up nicely.

Both Teams to Score

We've had Germany's top-flight, so we'll take a step down into the second tier over there as well.

This is one of the more intriguing games in the Bundesliga 2 calendar this season, as two sides squaring up for promotion to the top flight of German football will do battle at the home ground of Elversberg.

Elversberg are the top scorers in the division with an impressive haul of 22 goals from 10 games, and have the second-best defensive record in the league as well with just 8 goals conceded. Hannover, who sit just behind them in the table in 4th position, are slightly more hap-hazard - they've scored 18, which is the 4th-best record in the league (fittingly), but have conceded an impressive 13 times, which leaves them in 8th position on that metric.

Being a team that ships simple goals is not a fun recipe for Hannover to take to Elversberg on Halloween, so we can expect the hosts to find the net. However, expect Hannover to pull a Halloween scare on Elversberg of their own right - they've scored in every away game they have played this season bar one, and will have at least one in them on Friday night.
