Very nice winner coming our way last night, as Leverkusen and Newcastle suitably smashed the Over 2.5 Goals line tipped by us in a thrilling 4-4 draw. That makes it three on the spin, so let's go head-first into our attempt at a 4th.
The personal feeling from myself is that Gian Piero Gasperini's Romas side should be able to make their way to Celtic Park tonight and come away without having held a defeat. On their away-day's this season in the Europa League, they hold a 100% record having come out the winner in trips to Nice and Rangers. This bodes well for their second trip to Glasgow of the season.
The health of Roma's trips away don't start and end in Europe, as well. In Serie A this term, they have taken all three points away from five of seven matches on the road whilst keeping a clean sheet in three of those wins.
That doesn't bode well for a Celtic side that fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Hearts last time out. What’s more, the Bhoys were soundly beaten when hosting Braga on matchday two, while they were blown away in a first-half blitz away at FC Midtjylland last month. It is fair to say that Roma will represent a serious upgrade on the above-mentioned duo, and I think the visitors’ superior class will tell.
In Celtic's terms, that doesn't spell too much positivity for them. They fell down to a 2-1 defeat to shock title-chasers Hearts last time out, whilst the Bhoys were comfortably defeated at home by Braga when hosting them on matchday two. Furthermore, they were destroyed suitably by FC Midtyjlland in a first-half massacre last month as well. It's a fair shout to say Roma are a much better side than the aforementioned two clubs there, and we'll have them down as tonight's winners with a little security from the Double Chance line.
Fancy taking them all the way with a straight Roma to Win line? You can grab that at a healthy 2.25.
