Premier League Bet Builder Guides | Fulham vs Crystal Palace Best Bets

With midweek Premier League fixtures already in the rearview mirror in the English top flight, attention now immediately swivels to the weekend where a fresh host of first tier clashes await fans, neutrals and punters alike.

We're casting our net over to one of the two Super Sunday games available for the day at the end of the weekend, as we brace for a London derby as Crystal Palace make the Tube journey over to West London to square off with Fulham in the later of the day's two Premier League clashes - the other being Brighton's hosting of West Ham at 2pm.

Fulham have been flirting with the lower echelons of the top-flight table so far during this season whereas Crystal Palace - regardless of a haphazard season off the pitch - are doing well as they sit in 5th position in the Premier League at the time of writing.

It's bound to be a good one, and we are joining in on the fun with yet another bet builder guide. Read along, claim up to £40 in free football bets just by backing it with talkSPORT BET, and get in on the act right alongside our tipsters and in-house experts with Football Park.

Research - Why We Are Backing This Fulham vs Crystal Palace Bet Builder

The Foul Lines - Kamada and Tete Involved

I'm not sure what it is about Kenny Tete, but fouls seem to follow him around like a bad smell.

The 30-year-old Dutchman gets fouled a sizeable 1.9 times per game so far this season in the Premier League, and you would have to go back to the end of September to find a Fulham game that he hasn't been fouled in most recently. He has been fouled one, three, one, three and one time(s) specifically in his previous five games, and he would be a good selection against a Crystal Palace side that gives away over 10 fouls a game on average.

On the other side of things is the rather naughty Daichi Kamada. The Japan international loves to get stuck in whether he is being deployed in his more-natural attacking midfield spot or deployed deeper within the engine room at Selhurst Park. He gives away an average of 1.4 fouls per game in the Premier League this season and will be in line to start once more with Ismaila Sarr on the injury shelf.

Munoz To Have A Pop

The Colombian fullback has been something of an attacking force for Crystal Palace as of late, having scored twice in his previous five matches to make it three goals and two assists for the season.

He is more than just a defender for Palace, in fact he is akin more to a right-sided midfielder as is the way he gets deployed under Glasner. He averages 1.1 shots at goal per game so far into this Premier League season, and has registered four attempts over his previous four matches. Fulham have faced at least one shot on goal from opposing right midfielders in each of their last five matches, with an attacking impetus from Ryan Sessegnon on that side providing a few chances for players in that position to benefit - they've faced 6 shots from right midfielders in these five games, conceding three of them.

Both Teams to Find The Net

Fulham aren't having the most biblical of seasons, having won 17 points from the opening 14 games of the season so far. However, their home form at Craven Cottage has been encouraging in comparison - 13 of these points have all been won at home.

By contrast, Crystal Palace's away form has been their most prominent provider over the course of this season. They sit a lowly 15th in home form standings, with two wins and four draws stemming from seven games at Selhurst Park, meaning that 13 of their 23 points this season have come on the road - the fourth best record in the Premier League which leaves them fifth in the actual table.

So it's a strong home side against a very strong away side. 13 of Fulham's 19 goals this term have come at home, whereas the split of Palace's 18 goals is straight down the middle with nine at home and nine on the road. With the respective home and away forms of both of these two teams suggesting an interesting matchup between the two sides, we're expecting both sides to have their cards marked in this capital clash.

Someone's Taking The Points

A draw doesn't feel as if it is part of the equation for this Craven Cottage battle.

Out of the seven games played at home with Fulham, only one of them has ended in a draw this season so far, and the exact same can be said for Crystal Palace over the course of their seven away games so far this term as well.

Palace will be looking to solidify their position in the higher areas of the table as they look to potentially keep a hold of their European status come the end of the season, whereas Fulham will be hoping their strong form at home will be enough to ward off any potential flickers of worry that may come around as a result of the club sitting in 15th after 14 matches played.

One thing feels clear - someone is winning.
