West Brom vs Leicester Current Form and Standings

West Brom kickstarted their campaign in fine fashion, however their form has since tailed off. The Baggies earned 10 points from their opening four games and went unbeaten, following three wins against Blackburn, Wrexham, Stoke and a draw against Portsmouth. However, recently they have lost both of their last two matches against Derby and Middlesbrough. Whilst these were both tricky tests, it has dropped Ryan Mason’s side to seventh in the table, still on 10 points. They are level on points with Coventry in sixth and only two points away from Stoke in second, so there is still a lot to play for.

Leicester have also had a brilliant start to the season. Whilst they were amongst the three top flight teams to be relegated last term, financial trouble and talks of points deductions significantly lowered the Foxes’ expectations prior to the season. However, there is absolutely no reason as to why Marti Cifuentes’ men cannot go straight back up to the Premier League. They currently occupy fourth place in the second tier, with 11 points to their name. The Foxes managed to win three games against Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton and Birmingham and draw two games against Oxford and Coventry to make up those points. Although, they did lose to Preston North End along the way.
