This weekend’s Premier League Super Sunday hosts two games in total, the first half being at Villa Park, as Aston Villa take on Fulham.

Key Betting Tip: Aston Villa to Win offers good value @ 2.05.
Aston Villa Predicted XI: Martinez, Digne, Mings, Konsa, Cash, Kamara, McGinn, Elliott, Rogers, Guessand, Watkins
Aston Villa have three players who are currently suffering from injury and are likely to miss this fixture. That includes Ross Barkley, Amado Onana and Youri Tielemens.
Fulham Predicted XI: Leno, Sessegnon, Bassey, Anderson, Tete, Berge, Lukic, Iwobi, King, Wilson, Muniz
Fulham have two players in their squad who are carrying injuries. Both Antonee Robinson and Kevin make up this pair.
Aston Villa have started this season very slowly, but there is no doubt they’ll find a good patch of form soon. The Villans are still winless in the Premier League, after playing five, drawing three and losing two. Unai Emery’s men managed to pick up a point against each of Sunderland, Everton and Newcastle, but unfortunately lost to both Brentford and Crystal Palace in the meantime. This subsequently puts Villa 18th in the Premier League, in the relegation zone with just three points to their name. However, it is still early days and all it takes is one win for them to climb up the table.
Fulham have taken their form from last season straight into the new campaign and have achieved a solid start so far. The Cottagers have already managed to secure two wins and two draws from their opening five games of the season, after some great performances. They defeated both Brentford and Leeds in their last two games, following two draws against Brighton and Manchester United. However, they did also lose to Chelsea in the mix. This now puts Marco Silva’s outfit eighth in the Premier League table, with eight points under their belt. As long as they keep the winning form up, they could soon push towards the top four.
It is Aston Villa who have been dominant in this fixture in recent years. In fact Fulham haven’t managed to beat Sunday’s opponents since October 2022, despite their five attempts to do so since.

(Odds are subject to change)
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) - The striker has netted 35 goals and assisted 21 times in his last two Premier League seasons. Although he hasn’t yet scored from his opening five games this term, it is only a matter of time before he finds the net.
Alex Iwobi (Fulham) - After reaching the highest numbers of his career last season, the Nigerian has already started this term in fine fashion too. He has scored once and assisted twice in the five Premier League games he has played so far, after contributing to two goals in his last match against Brentford.
