Formation: 4-4-2
Woking Predicted Line-Up: Will Jääskeläinen; Jacob Jones, Tunji Akinola, Chinwike Okoli, Dan Moss; Aiden O’Brien, Jamie Andrews, Dale Gorman, Tariq Hinds; Sam Ashford, Lewis Walker
Woking have had a run of games as of late, managing to go on a run of four game on the trot without seeing defeat. As a result of that, Woking now find themselves sat in 16th place in the table after 44 games. 13 wins, 14 losses and 17 draws have left them with a tally of 56 points, sharing that with two other teams but goal difference keeps Woking from making any further advancements.
The Cardinals have been poor going forward this season, netting only 49 goals, making them the joint-fourth lowest scoring team in the National League. When they have managed to find the back of the net however, it has quite often been through Harry Beautyman. He has been relishing in his first season at Woking after his move from Sutton United in the summer. Beautyman has grabbed himself double-digits on the season, finding the back of the net 10 times as well as producing three assists. The 33-year-old might not get a start in Neal Ardley’s opening 11 this Saturday but he will be a great option for Woking coming off the bench against some tired Eastleigh legs.
Formation: 3-5-2
Eastleigh Predicted Line-Up: Joe McDonnell; Corey Panter, Ludwig Francillette, Luis Fernandez; Noa Boutin, Ben Close, Nathan Tshikuna, Angel Waruih, Jai Semenyo; Tyrese Shade, Chris Maguire
Since their thrashing at the hands of Rochdale three weeks ago, Eastleigh have been able to avoid defeat, winning and drawing in their two previous games before Saturday’s affair. Picking up 14 wins, 14 losses and 16 draws from 44 National League games this season, Eastleigh can find themselves residing in 12th place with 58 points. They trail opponents Woking by only two points so a win will be crucial for them not to be overtaken by their opposition this weekend.
The Spitfires have been fairly average in both going forward and defending this campaign, scoring 56 whilst conceding 57. That minus one goal difference has helped them not drop places in the standings and helping in the goals department has been striker Tyresse Shade. The 24-year-old has 18 goal involvements to his name, split into 12 goals and six assists. Shade has been the man to go to in this Eastleigh side and will likely have that responsibility fall on his shoulder once more this Saturday, aiming to another goal against Woking like he did in the reverse fixture back in September.
The last five faceoffs have been split in the favour of Eastleigh, winning three, drawing once and losing to Woking in the remaining match. This Saturday looks like it could go either way with both teams in relatively good form.
