As another weekend of action draws to a close, we have been treated to some exquisite goals in Europe's top 5 leagues. Football Park have compiled their favourite efforts into a list featuring the best 10 goals from the latest round of fixtures and they do not disappoint.
Crystal Palace and football fans alike are more than aware of the qualities that Mateta has to offer, particulalry from his displays last season, where he nothced a respectable 14 league goals. He has since earned a call-up to the French national team and his goal at the weekend against Brentford is the perfect example of why.
The Frenchman has been praised in recent weeks for his clever movement and this is where the goal came from. As the set-piece was sent long to the back post, Nathan Collins was meandering back towards his goal and this was when the striker pounced. The subsequent knock down found Mateta's path and he guided a quite brilliant looping header back across goal, giving Dean Henderson zero chance.

Werder Bremen's No.6 is regarded as one of the most versatile players in the German top flight. Generally deployed as a central midfielder, but also comfortable as a full-back, the 28-year-old is a player that any team would appreciate if he were in their squad.
He demonstrated his qualities last Saturday away to Mainz at the Mewa Arena, with a right-footed volley from just inside the 18-yard box. The strike required precision and control as Stage had to wait for the dropping ball, before hitting his effort across goal into the bottom corner to equalise for his side.
Jacob Murphy has continued his fine form this season. Despite the signing of Anthony Elanga, the Magpies winger who accumlated 20 goals and assists combined in the Premier League last term appears unphased. His £12m price tag that Newcastle paid Norwich in 2017 looks to be one of the best value for money deals in recent history.
Although his side lost to West Ham 3-1, Jacob Murphy opened the scoring with a fierce strike, moments after Jarrod Bowen had seen his effort strike the upright at the opposite end. The way that Murphy dispatched his goal showed the level of confidence he has and it is a sign of more to come again this season.
The Welshman certainly knows how to score a special goal. From his knuckleball effort at Old Trafford in 2018 during his loan spell at Derby, to last seasons November's goal of the month, with a sumptious flick at the near post against Brentford.
Whilst his effort against Wolves at the weekend was not quite as spectacular, it still warranted a place on this list. The winger charged on to the loose ball at pace and matched the energy at which he approached the ball with his shot that fizzed off the turf with curl into the bottom left corner.

A player familiar to the Bundesliga, Florian Kainz has plied his trade in the German top flight for near on a decade. The midfielder has earned 25 caps the Austrian national team and has been an important figure in the FC Köln midfield in recent times.
His technical capabilities are one of his key assets and was firmly on display in his team's most recent 4-1 win against Hamburger SV. In the 48th minute the midfielder stepped up from the free-kick which was off the right, just outside the penalty area. His strike was inch perfect, beating the wall and leaving the goalkeeper stranded as he watched the ball fly into the back of the net.
Since his loan move away from the Red Devils, the Marcus Rashford of old has resurfaced. The recently turned 28-year-old has managed 11 goal involvements from 14 games so far for Barcelona. He's been reintegrated with the England squad as well and looks certain to be on the plane to North America next summer.
His goal against Elche over the weekend received heaps of praise online, as the English star managed to score from an impossible angle. He gained half a yard against his opposing defender and sent a weaker left-footed strike crashing against the inside of the bar and in. A superb hit from a man in form.

Talk about rejuvenated stars who have escaped the clutches of Manchester United. Antony has not looked back since leaving Old Trafford in the summer. After his initial loan to Real Betis last season, he made the move permanent and has looked very much at home at the Spanish club.
The Brazilian appears to be playing with freedom, and he confirmed this claim with a brace against Mallorca on Sunday. His first strike followed a neat one-two off, with the winger infield about 25 yards from goal. He dispatched effortlessly with a low driven strike. His second was the pick of the bunch being a similar distance from goal. His bending effort from the right nestled into the side netting, doubling his sides lead.
The Ivorian, was one of the very few positive sparks at Manchester United last season. His memorable winner in the Manchester derby was a moment to celebrate for Red Devils fans, of which there had been few last campaign. Despite this, Amorim's men appear to have taken a positive turn after going four games unbeaten.
Amad was at the heart of ensuring the unbeaten run stayed intact with a stunning volley at the City Ground to sink Nottingham Forest's hopes of getting a first league win under Dyche's watch. As the ball was cleared from the corner, it reached Amad on the edge of the area who struck a superb volley into the bottom corner leaving Matz Sels in goal no chance.
There appears to be a Manchester United theme here as Alvaro Carreras spent two years in the youth team at Old Trafford. He had loan spells at Preston, Granada and Benfica, before making the switch permanent to the Portuguese side in 2024. He'd return to his boyhood club Real Madrid in the summer for £43m.
The Spaniard would score his first goal for Los Blancos on Sunday night against Valencia and what a goal it was. The 22-year-old found himself in a position on the left that appeared easier to cross the ball from. Instead he went for glory and what a decision it was as his venomous strike arrowed into the top corner, capping off a dominate 4-0 victory.

Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski is no stranger to the Serie A. He began his youth career in Poland, but made the switch to Italy to continue his development in 2011 with Udinese. He'd have a loan spell with Empoli, before having his most successful time in his career at Napoli. He moved to Inter Milan in the summer of 2024, losing out on the Serie A title by one point to his former side last season.
Zielinski showed why he has played for some of Italy's elite clubs, with his goal against Hellas Verona on Sunday. As Calhanoglu floated his corner out to the midfielder, who was unmarked at the edge of the penalty area, nobody could have expected what would happen next. His side footed cushioned volley found the roof of the net in one of the most aesthetically pleasing goals scored in recent memory, with claims it should win the Puskas prize.
INTER MILAN'S ZIELINSKI MIGHT HAVE JUST SCORED THE BEST GOAL YOU'LL SEE IN SERIE A THIS SEASON 😦👏
