Cristiano Ronaldo had a hold on all of us throughout his European domination. But it wasn't just for this ability, it was his hair. The man has had more haircuts then the English have had roast dinners. His hair wasn't something that just grew on his head, it was a symbol of what's to come from Ronaldo. If there is any hairstyle that you could name, just know Ronaldo has probably scored a hat-trick with it.

Before the trophies, accolades and history-making, Ronaldo wasn't concerned about his hair, but about the player he would become. His OG (original) hairstyle was nothing that would blow your socks off, it was the natural CR7 look.
In his early days of football, his hair was always wet no matter the conditions and long enough that he looked like a Jedi padawan. All that was missing was the braid. It was the start of Ronaldo's hairstyle journey.

The fauxhawk might not be Ronaldo's best-looking haircut, but it was a consistent one. He featured it during the latter part of his Manchester United years (first spell) and during the beginning of his renowned Real Madrid years. It is an impressive look that is quite difficult to pull off, with the flurry of hairs going in different directions. It definitely isn't one that is considered "trendy" anymore.
It began at United but it came into its own at Madrid. The redefined fauxhawk was the beginning of the Messi vs Ronaldo debate. The debate that will never end by the way.

As Ronaldo quickly rose to stardom, so did his hairstyles. However, it was still early days for Ronaldo in his hairstyle journey, so not much was done to the actual style, he just opted for a lot of hair gel. This time his hair wasn't just wet, the glow from the gel made Ronaldo shine not only through his performance, but from the sun reflecting off his head.
It did once again prove that sometimes a simple haircut is the way forward. Just maybe relax on the hair gel front.

This one like the noodle hair doesn't have a specific name, but it is truly iconic. Most notably worn during Portugal's Euro 2016 run, Ronaldo had convinced many generations to adopt this hairstyle. It was easy to pull off and easy to look after.
It lasted a couple of years in Ronaldo's domination converting from a winger into a number 9. It wasn't time to mess about with tricky hairstyles for CR7, just about winning more trophies which included another couple of Champions League trophies. Standard.

You're wrong if you don't think this is Ronaldo's greatest ever trim. The noodle hair is iconic or some people even love to call it spaghetti hair. Whatever you name it, Ronaldo had arguably his best ever season with this hairstyle. It was another Ballon D'or and another Champions League for CR7 that season. The noodles partnered with the purple kit, were every football fans dream.
His brace in the Champions League final had every kid asking their parents for a new haircut the next morning. Don't ask your barber for noodle hair though, as there is definitely a better name for this trim. Perhaps, just show a photo of Ronaldo rocking it and promise you will score a screamer because noodle hair makes footballing dreams come true.

After his dominance in Spain, Ronaldo opted for a move to Italian giants Juventus. His £100 million move didn't just signal that Ronaldo wanted a change of scenery, he wanted to make another league his own. With his change of scenery, he opted to go back to basics with a simple crop.
The crop emulated Ronaldo's maturity as he has grown up and was opting for a more simple hairstyle. That didn't last long though.

Now, this is no disrespect to man bun whatsoever, but it wasn't Ronaldo's best haircut let's just say that. It did compliment his Serie A dominance and the top scorer in the league. With Ronaldo, there is never any certainties. The man bun was the final if not one of the final haircuts that really showed that Ronaldo could pull off any haircut. It also proved he still can't make his mind up. Lucky he can stick it in the back of the net though.
