EFL Championship, League One & League Two Predictions

EFL expert Gab Sutton is back working with Football Park, and once again he’s given us his best predictions for this weekend’s EFL fixtures.

Who’s he picked for sure, and who is he thinking about with outside odds?

Whether you’re building a naughty ACCA for the weekend, or just interested to see what a man who knows the EFL like the back of his hand is thinking, we’ve got his tips laid out here.

Championship Predictions

Luton Town to beat Hull City - 99/100

Luton might not have had the start to the season expected of them, but Gab thinks they’ll manage just fine against Hull.

Sunderland to beat Millwall - 2/1

Millwall have managed great results against top teams in recent weeks, but that only plays in our favour as we look for the best odds. The Black Cats shouldn’t have an issue here.

Middlesbrough to beat Oxford United - 59/100

Michael Carrick’s Boro are bolstered with quality, and Gab thinks they’ll use that to grab all three points against Oxford.

Championship Treble?

Combining all three selections from the Championship would earn you unbelievable 8/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a huge £90 should it land.

League One Predictions

Wrexham to beat Exeter City - 3/4

The Disney+ stars might have fizzled out after their incredible start to the season, but they’ll face no issues against Exeter.

Stockport County to beat Burton Albion - 22/25

Stockport have been excellent so far this season. The Brewers? Not so much. HighBet have great odds on this game for what seems an obvious result.

Rotherham United to beat Crawley Town

Rob Elliot’s Crawley are struggling, and despite a draw last time out, will fall to defeat at the hands of Rotherham.

League One Treble

Combining all three selections from League One would earn you great 5/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return £60 should it land.

League Two Predictions

Gillingham to beat Harrogate Town - 63/100

Gills are unbeaten in their last two, and their home advantage will certainly give them the tools to defeat Harrogate.

Doncaster Rovers to win at Carlisle - 97/100

Mike Williamson’s Carlisle still look disjointed, and Doncaster will take full advantage of that. This is a great opportunity for the away side.

Chesterfield to beat Barrow - 89/100

League Two new-boys Chesterfield have been very exciting so far this season, and Gab’s backing them to defeat Barrow.

League Two Treble

Combining all three selections from League Two would earn you huge 5/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a hefty £60 should it land.

Gab Sutton's Outside Shouts

Stoke City to win at QPR - 171/100

QPR have been poor since the end of August, and Stoke seem a team on the way up. No brainer.

Bristol Rovers to win at Mansfield - 16/5

The Gas may be below the Stags in the table, but Gab thinks they’ve got a real shot here.

Morecambe to win at Swindon Town - 61/20

A clash at the bottom of the table, and Gab thinks the Shrimps could propel themselves out of the relegation zone with a win.

Wilson Isidor to score any time against Millwall - 31/10

Isidor returned to scoring ways against Coventry, and he could certainly pop up again with another goal against Millwall.
