Saturday 20th April 32/1 Accumulator

19/04/24 14:27

Last Saturday’s acca went very close, and this weekend we have ramped up the odds with some great value selections. Six teams and plenty to play for at this final stage of the season, we are excited for it!

Southampton to win vs Cardiff City

Russell Martin’s Southampton side have emerged from nowhere to become serious candidates for automatic promotion, after some excellent form and constant stumbles from rivals Leicester City and Leeds United. A win against mid-table Cardiff will see them take another step towards a Premier League return, and with three wins on the bounce coming into this one, we don’t think Cardiff will have enough to stop them.

Norwich City to win vs Bristol City

Norwich can secure their play-off spot with a win against Bristol City, who actually are not easy opposition. The Robins are in strong enough form, but now have nothing to play for, and the Canaries have turned Carrow Road into one of the biggest fortresses in the Championship. They have the fourth best home record in the league, and they have won their last 8 straight home games, unbeaten in their last 14 at home. With lots at stake and the power of Carrow Road, we’re backing Norwich.

Bolton Wanderers to win vs Port Vale

This is a League One game with plenty at stake. With a win, Bolton can put pressure on Derby’s automatic promotion spot, and Port Vale will be all but relegated from the division. It is a third from top against third from bottom matchup, with only one outcome in our eyes. Bolton have won their last three meetings with Port Vale, a side who haven’t won in their last 5 games. Bolton have just one loss in their last 10.

Lincoln City to win vs Cheltenham Town

Michael Skubala has done an unbelievable job with Lincoln this season, and with a win against Cheltenham, play-offs could be in sight in Oxford or Barnsley slip up. The Imps have lost just once in their last 18 games, including 8 away from home, in which they have won 5. Cheltenham have lost their last 4 consecutive home games, and relegation is looming for the Robins, who could be in serious danger if they lose. Lincoln have kept clean sheets in their last 4 meetings with Cheltenham, winning 3 of these games.

Crawley Town to win vs Sutton United

Crawley Town can relegate local rivals Sutton United with a win or perhaps even a draw this weekend. The Red Devils can also secure their own play-off spot if they continue their incredible away record. Crawley have 6 wins from their last 8 on the road, and Scott Lindsey’s men have the third best away record in the league. Crawley defeated Sutton 3-0 in a straight-forward victory earlier in the season, and we expect them to have too much quality and confidence away from home to get the job done.

Worthing to win vs Weston-Super-Mare

Worthing will secure an important third-place play-off spot by beating Weston-Super-Mare in the final National League South match of the season. They have won their last 5 consecutive games, making fantastic ground to secure a top 3 finish. They’re not struggling for goals either, scoring 16 times in these 5 victories, and against a mid-table WSM side with nothing to play for, we are backing a home win
