I am an aspiring sports journalist looking to make a name for myself in the media industry while carrying out my studies at university. I am entering my final year at Durham University, where I study History and Spanish. This past year I did a year abroad in Spain, where I carried out an internship at the Olive Press - an expat newspaper - and this experience opened my eyes to the world of journalism. I wrote multiple articles a day for the newspaper's website, on a range of topics, while also carrying out interviews with locals for exclusive stories. As a result, my stories were a regular feature in the print editions, including on the front page. Over the past few years, I have also written for the 'Sports' section of my university newspaper, Palatinate. I have covered a range of sports, from handball to tennis to football. Now, I am searching for further journalistic opportunities, with a specific focus on sport.
