
Scottish Football Writer
Harry is a sports journalist with a focus on the Scotland national team and Scottish youth football. In 2025, he achieved a distinction for his Masters in sports journalism at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. For his final year project, Harry produced a series of articles and podcasts on the history of the Scotland national team, the growth of the women’s game, and how youth football in Scotland can be improved. For this project, he interviewed a variety of coaches and writers, including Ian Cathro, Andy Goldie, Julie McNeill and Graham Hunter.
Harry worked for Clapton CFC during the 24/25 season. As well as writing reports and filming player interviews, Harry produced a video piece on the club’s strong political values and fan culture which was shared on Clapton’s platforms. Working for the Sports Gazette, Harry contributed football articles that delved into social and political stories. A highlight for Harry was interviewing former Celtic player Luana Muñoz on the challenges facing women’s football in South America. He also gained experience of live reporting, obtaining media accreditation for WSL and FA Youth Cup games throughout the season.
Harry has a deep interest in other leagues around the world. He avidly follows La Liga, Serie A, and South American leagues. Having obtained an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Italian, he uses his language skills to immerse himself in the football media of different countries. At the end of 2025, Harry began writing for the Spanish football platform, La Liga Lowdown. He takes pride in offering readers deeper insight into foreign leagues. Harry writes for GiveMeSport, contributing news and informed opinion pieces on Celtic.
