Did I hear someone say the Championship is back? THATS RIGHT, THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS BACK. If I had to describe a feeling it compares to, my best attempt would be finding that missing airpod under the bed. So lets get stuck in to the tales of the tapes.

As should always be considered, quite literally anything can happen in this division. We have given our best shot in predicting the outcomes of this Saturday's action and have come out with a four-fold to follow (may I just mention that my last one went pretty well).

Watford to stun formiddable Rams at Pride Park

Now you may be reading this thinking, what on earth is he talking about? However, at 2.80 odds alone, Im happy to side with an away win as Javi Garcia hopes to have a succesful second stint as Watford manager.

As touched upon, Derby come into this game on a run of five succesive wins, most recently getting the better of Blackburn away from home. Much of the credits should go to the form of their frontman, Carlton Morris, claiming six goals in his last four appearances and taking his tally up to ten in 15 appearances this season. The Watford defence will have to be at the top of their game if they want to keep him quiet on Saturday afternoon.

Whilst Watford haven't been on the most groundbreaking form, they have been quietly getting results against the likes of Middlesborough, Bristol City and Ipswich Town away from home and are beginning to develop as a strong Championship outlet behind star peformer Imran Louza. Ahead of this matchup, the previous head to head record cannot be ignored. Watford have defeated Derby in their previous four outings, two of these victories being at Pride Park and will certainly have a psychological advantage coming into this one.

Lions to Roar Again in the South Coast

Alex Neil and Millwall have had an excellent time on their travels this season, despite their unbeaten run being stopped emphatically by Birmingham City at the start of the month. They were not at the races that day and with the return of a few important faces from the sidelines, the Lions can get back on track here at 2.62 Odds.

Millwall have a quite formiddable record in recent times against Portsmouth, having won their six last matches against Saturday's opposition. Meanwhile, Portsmouth are in a spell of poor form, having lost four of their last five league matches and for a side that made Fratton Park a fortress last season will be looking over their shoulder this time around amid relegation fears. We're opting for the Lions to add to Mousinho's misery here.

An Entertaining Contest in Bristol

Last seasons playoff hopefuls Bristol City are lingering around the right end of the table again and will be hoping to go one step further this year under Gerhard Struber. A bit like Portsmouth, Bristol City were associated with having strong home form under a resolute minded manager in Liam Manning, yet this season the goals have been flying in from both ends, scoring 22 goals and conceding 18 in 15 league appearances.

As for Swansea, it seems like a familiar tale where a sense of optimism develops around the club before channeling back down to earth with poor results and a constant mid table stance. The side based in South Wales have lost three of their past four matches and have recently confirmed the departure of manager Alan Sheehan after just six months in charge. Yet, they have gone down fighting, scoring in each of their last five matches and previous matchups between the two sides have so often brought goals giving enough reason to believe that this will be another entertaining affair. We're siding with the Both Teams to Score option here with Odds of 1.83 as a single.

Coventry to Run Riot

Last but not at all least, Coventry City have an enticing home fixture against a struggling West Brom side and we are on board with the Sky Blues to prevail at 1.67 Odds.

Im sure that you've heard it many times this season that Lampard and Coventry are a force to be reckoned with, so why try to fix something that isn't broken. The league leaders have won eight of their last nine league matches, scoring 30 and conceding only six times in that spell. Striker Brandon Thomas Asante leads the league scoring ranks alongside Morris of Derby, closely followed by strike partner Haji Wright currently on eight goals for the season.

They will both view this as a great opportunity to add to their tally against a West Brom side who have been nothing short of disappointing under Ryan Mason. After a strong start to the season, they have won just one of their last five against a relegation threatened Oxford United. Whilst the previous head to head reads better for The Baggies in recent years, they will have a stiff task on their hands and we think this will be too much of an ask to stop Coventry City from getting a win here.
