A weekend packed with Premier League action draws near once more, and with it, sees David Moyes’ Everton pitched against Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.

The blue side of London has had a rocky ride of things recently - Chelsea are now four games without a win, stretching back to that magical night against Barcelona, and come into this game off the back of a poor performance in Bergamo, where they allowed a 1-0 lead to slip to a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta.

Conversely, Everton seem to have hit their stride. The Toffees, driven by a rejuvenated Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, have won four of their last five games, their only defeat a 4-1 loss to Newcastle at St. James’ Park, and across all four of those victories, Jordan Pickford has kept a clean sheet. As a result, Everton sit just two places and one point behind their London adversaries, underlining their threat to the top six.

So, while Chelsea may be considered favourites here, many would agree that momentum is in Everton's favour, and with the way David Moyes has them playing, they have the ability to cause all sorts of problems for what looks to be a fatigued Chelsea side.

With the stakes high for both sides, we thought it was only right for you to stake something of your own, and as such, we have created two bet builders ahead of the game, catering for bettors looking for both big wins and small profits. While our low-risk bet is as safe as houses, our high-risk bet could return almost £245 from just a £5 stake!

So, without further ado, here is our Chelsea vs Everton Premier League bet builder.

Why We Are Backing This Bet?

Low Risk

Chelsea to Find Some Form?: It’s fair to say that Chelsea have struggled in recent weeks - since that win over Barcelona and the following draw to Arsenal, the Blues have looked lost without midfield general Moises Caicedo there to protect them, and even when he made his return in Europe last night, they looked far from self-assured.

However, they are Club World Champions for a reason, and though he can be accused of being too tactically clever for his own good, even Enzo Maresca will be starting to worry more about results than ironing out his tactical crinkles. Chelsea should come into this one with renewed vigour, and with luck, will end their winless streak.

Goals for Both: However, despite Chelsea’s poor recent form, they have only failed to score in one of their last five, and their last goalless showing at Stamford Bridge came on the opening day of the season.

As for Everton, they have scored in six consecutive matches, and have netted eight in their last five. In superb nick in front of goal are the likes of Dewsbury-Hall, Jack Grealish, and Thierno Barry, who finally opened his account for the club at the weekend and will more than likely cut through the shaky Chelsea backline at least once.

Over 1.5 Goals: It goes without saying that if both sides do score, then it checks off two legs for the price of one. Over 1.5 goals is an unnecessarily safe bet, but given that this is the low-risk bet builder, we thought we’d do our best to give you a guaranteed win.

Dead-Ball Blues: In four of their last five home games, Chelsea have comfortably exceeded the over 3.5 corners threshold, sometimes emphatically so - against Ajax they accumulated 11, while against Sunderland the very next game, they managed nine.

While their corner record away from home is very poor in contrast, the Blues know how to get on the front foot at home, and this marks their first home game since that draw with Arsenal, having had three consecutive away days. Expect them to come out with attacking intent, and with it, a bucketload of corners.

High Risk

Everton Win: To be fair, it say’s high-risk above for a reason! Clear underdogs given the odds, Everton certainly have their work cut out for them when they visit West London. However, the Toffees have shown that they know how to grind out an away result, underlined by their remarkable win at Old Trafford despite playing with 10 men for over an hour.

They have only notched three away wins in the entirety of the season so far, but two of those have come in the last two weeks or so, indicating that despite their early-season shortcomings, Everton are becoming comfortable playing in front of hostile away crowds.

Low-Scoring Snooze Fest: While we are predicting an Everton victory here, that does not necessarily mean it will be a high-scorer. In their last 10 visits to Stamford Bridge, the Toffees have managed more than one goal just once, and haven’t managed a win in any of those.

However, with Chelsea’s recent attacking shortcomings, there is a chance they are wasteful at one end, allowing Everton to make their mark at the other and then sit on their lead. They won’t dominate the game, but there is certainly room to grind out a gritty 1-0 win.

Kiernan the Key: Sold to Everton by Chelsea for £25 million in the summer, it is safe to say that the former Leicester man has not looked back since. The Englishman has accrued four goals and two assists in 15 games so far this season and, alongside Grealish, has become one of Moyes’ key players.

He has three goals in his last four (obviously notching a shot on target in each) and is Everton's man in form at the moment. If anyone is going to threaten the Blues, it’s former player and Conference League and Club World Cup champion Kiernan.
