Ladies and gentlemen, the weekend.
People online have been harping on all week about the 18 games all at once in the UEFA Champions League last night, and all the same for tonight's bouts of UEFA Europa League action. Chasing generational wealth with a mighty 18-fold ACCA is certainly tempting (and a treasure I, of course, had a pop at and came surprisngly close to pulling off), but real ones know that a lengthy ACCA is a regular treat on the weekends when the EFL is involved.
So why would this weekend be any different? We've compiled our tempting ACCA for this Saturday's EFL battles over on talkSPORT BET and they offer a range of ways to get involved in the fun. We've got low a teasing mid range ACCA at odds of, so let me introduce you to our Saturday EFL ACCA.
Watford vs Swansea - Watford to Win
Sheffield Wednesday vs Wrexham - Over 1.5 Match Goals
Stockport County vs Plymouth Argyle - Both Teams to Score
Tranmere Rovers vs Salford City - Salford to Win (1Up Early Payout)
Total Odds - 6.25 (£10 Stake Returns £62.50)
Whisper it quietly, but Watford have been one of the best teams in the entire Championship when it comes to home form, sitting 4th in the home-alone standings with eight wins, five draws and just two losses this season to equate to 29 points. Their away form is what has let them down this term, as the Hornets sit a lowly 16th in those standings. One team who sits lower than them? Their visiting Swans for the weekend, who will make the trip to Hertfordshire amidst some miserable form on the road.
Swansea have won just three away games all season, yet all three of those wins have come against poor sides now sat in the relegation zone at time of writing (Blackburn, Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday). Watford have got plenty more quality than that trio, despite being on a run of three games without a win in the Championship. Saturday, for Javi Gracia and his men, represents an opportune moment to break that duck nicely against Swansea.
You'll have to go back to November to find the last time there was not at least two match goals in a Wrexham game, where an out-of-character 0-0 draw with Ipswich Town was the story of the day. Phil Parkinson's Red Dragons have been consistently entertaining since their ascent to the EFL Championship, and have morphed that ethos into a hopeful promotion push.
Their next clash comes against one of the most unfortunate teams in the league, Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls are a stunning 37 points away from safety, and relegation to League One is a bygone conclusion after administration and points deductions dominated their headlines to start the term. The one win and eight draws they have earned this season would still have them bottom and 19 points adrift if it wasn't for the deductions, but that isn't their fault.
Goals should be prominent in this one, even if only from one side of the playing field - Sheffield Wednesday haven't scored a goal since Boxing Day and have just lost club legend Barry Bannan, but the Over 1.5 line has still landed in four of their last five.
Stockport have seen both teams find the back of the net in each of their last four games, but they have not tasted defeat since a loss to Reading right at the start of 2026. They are a tough, tough team to play against, but Tom Cleverley's Plymouth side have gathered a good head of steam with an unbeaten run stretching back to Boxing Day that has launched them from relegation favourites to mid-table security.
You've got to go back further to find the last time a team kept a clean sheet against Plymouth as well - the 6th of December, to be precised. This should be a thrilling encounter between a side chasing promotion to the Championship and one building more and more momentum towards an audacious playoff push. We're expecting both teams to have their cards marked on Saturday.
For our final selection, we are making use of one of talkSPORT's best offers - the 1Up/2Up Early Payout scheme. At slightly lower odds than just backing a straight win, you can get your bet paid out as a winner as soon as your chosen team goes one or two goals ahead, at your discretion.
The logic makes sense here - Tranmere have been one of the worst home sides in League Two this season (3w, 5d, 6L) whilst Salford have been one of the stronger sides on the road (7w, 1d, 5L). The hosts on Saturday have conceded the first goal of the game in four of their last six outings, including one in the 8th minute against Barrow, who tore them apart. If that happens again, with this market backed, this line could come home as a winner in just a matter of minutes! Furthermore, Salford have scored the opening goal of the game in each of their last four away encounters, so this line could breeze home if they are on song on Saturday.
