Both to Strike on City Travels

Yeah, nice one Juventus. Batter the life out of Cremonese in a 5-0 demolition job, but only earn yourselves five four corners along the way to lose us our bet yesterday. How very mature of you. Oh well, no rest for the bettors as they say (probably) so we will swivel our attentions back into the Premier League for tonight's best bet. The catch of the day? Both teams to score as Newcastle host Manchester City.

Though they may be the betting underdogs here, Newcastle United should come into this one optimistically - after all, they were the last Premier League side to defeat Pep's sideways-passing machine, with a 2-1 win back in November. In that game, there were chances aplenty in both boxes. The hosts for tonight picked out an xG of 2.24, whereas Man City had a whopping 17 shots and three big chances, amassing 2.49 xG and being unlucky to leave with nothing.

Recently, both teams have been back amongst the goals both for and against them. Manchester City shook the headlines and the EFL with a ripping 10-1 win over poor old Exeter City at the Etihad, whereas the Magpies made their way past Bournemouth in fellow FA Cup action. That latter-most game was 2-2 at the end of the regular 90, 3-3 after extra-time and finished 7-6 on penalties. It was a true belter of a game that should have whetted the appetite for more goals this evening in the Carabao Cup.

At 1.47, a £10 stake will return a resourceful £14.70 with talkSPORT BET
