Manchester City. The most dominant team in English football right now. Perhaps on their day, the most dominant team in the world. And maybe one day, the most dominant team ever. For now though, we’re backing them to win the 2024/25 FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s side got ever so close to securing the FA Cup once again last season. They’d done it the season before, beaten the same opposition in the season before the final, but just couldn’t beat the excellence of Kobbie Mainoo on the day. This year though, they’ll be gunning to go all the way.

Manchester City have a strong record in the cup. They’ve won three of the last eight competitions since Guardiola joined as manager in 2016. Much more staggeringly though, since then, Manchester City have made it to at least the semi-final of the tournament in seven of the last eight. Incredible.

And they aren’t settling down now. They’ve already signed Brazilian winger Savinho and look to be waving off any offers for star man Kevin De Bruyne. Pep is still firmly in the building, and the blues have a huge squad. Competing once again for the cup competition like this, will be no problem.
